Get inspired to create amazing food with a new Breville appliance

Canadians have been rediscovering their kitchen lately. This has been more challenging for some people. Even for me, someone who absolutely loves cooking and creating and experimenting with food, there are days when I don’t feel it.

We’ve all used microwave ovens and I think my experience on my 5 year old machine is probably quite typical. For each entry, tell us one food item or recipe that you would make in one of these Breville ovens if you win. You must specify which oven you are referring to in your comment. For example, a valid entry might be: if I win the Breville 3 in 1 oven I will make a decadent chocolate cake.

Also each entry must be unique: if you enter here and on one of the review article, you must specify a different food item.

What you can win

At the end of the contest we will select two winners from all valid entries. One winner will win the same Breville 3 in 1 oven that was reviewed by the blogger. The other winner will win the same Breville Smooth Wave microwave that was reviewed by the blogger.

  15. I’d use the Breville 3 in 1 oven to air fry some nice french fries. Funny the things you miss on quarantine lockdown, nice french fries. Yeah I could go to a drive through but why take the risk for french fries. Much better to have an oven that can also air fry.

  27. I would cook corn on the cob.It is delicious and very Quick,Just wet the corn with the outer leaves left on it.3 minutes per cob.

  33. If I win the Breville 3 in 1 oven I would make crispy chicken breast in the air fryer and use it to make chicken sandwiches! I’ve recently came across an amazing recipe although it calls for the chicken to be fried so I would love to try a healthier way of cooking it.

  43. If I win the Breville Countertop 3-in-1 Convection Microwave, I will try cooking some meat that I would not normally microwave – such as roast chicken. Up until now, microwaved chicken has always seemed a bit rubbery to me, so I’d really be branching out if I try this!

  45. I’d like to win Breville smooth wave microwave and I’ll cook Vietnamese style shrimp cake, instead of deep fry them, it’s too oily. It would be healthier with Breville smooth wave microwave.
