Get inspired to create amazing food with a new Breville appliance

Canadians have been rediscovering their kitchen lately. This has been more challenging for some people. Even for me, someone who absolutely loves cooking and creating and experimenting with food, there are days when I don’t feel it.

A new appliance always helps, but one of the new Breville microwaves would totally solve that problem. We recently had two of their newest models reviewed. You should read the reviews of those machines: you’ll be astounded by the variety for foods you can make.

We’ve all used microwave ovens and I think my experience on my 5 year old machine is probably quite typical. You put something in, turn it on, the timer rings, you take it out, stir, put it back in and repeat, until it finally it’s so hot you burn your mouth (and somehow there is still that one section that is ice cold!).

For each entry, tell us one food item or recipe that you would make in one of these Breville ovens if you win. You must specify which oven you are referring to in your comment. For example, a valid entry might be: if I win the Breville 3 in 1 oven I will make a decadent chocolate cake.

Also each entry must be unique: if you enter here and on one of the review article, you must specify a different food item.

  1. Winning the Breville 3 in 1 Convection would be a dream come true! So much more convenient as opposed to using the oven or my old microwave, I would use it for all of our meals..perfect for a retired couple.

  17. I cannot tell you how much I need a new appliance like these in my life – my oven has been broken for over 3 years. we have a toaster oven that we use; either that or a microwave. It would be amazing to update my life a bit with an amazing oven so that I can make something good to eat for my family – I could make some really good chicken dishes with this!

  40. If I won the Breville Smooth Wave microwave, I would make my mouth watering three cheese omelette, crispy delicious Turkey bacon, and creamy scalloped potatoes, followed by my sinfully tasty chocolate cupcake!

  41. if I win the Breville Smooth Wave Microwave I of course would have to make my favourite popcorn, but, not only that I love the helpful presets for melting chocolate or softening butter while I’m baking. I’ve had my old microwave for just over 10 years and it finally broke down on me and I miss my popcorn. Another great thing is the pizza preset, I am excited to test out all the presets if I were lucky enough to win.
    If I won the Breville 3 in 1 oven I would save time and have both dinner and dessert ready as it is, I have to start cooking dinner earlier or dessert comes extremely late and I love baking so testing out this oven is 1 thing I am excited for aside from the ease of having everything in both my stovetop oven and the new Breville 3 in 1 with such a large family.

  46. If I won the Breville 3 in 1 I know exactly what i would make. All of my mom’s favourite foods! She has been in the hospital for 3 weeks now and she’s been begging and crying for her favourite foods. Of course with Covid we can’t visit. My dad and I are renovating their home to make it more accessible when God willing, she comes home. I found her mother’s family recipe box and I am laminating them all to preserve her handwriting.
    My mom would love mug cake, a thin crust pizza with bocconcini, arugula and proscuitto and sponge cake
