You see, the gang at Best Buy came to me and asked if I wanted to be the person who introduces Canada to some new wearable technology. Since I’m not a crazy person, I said, “YES PLEASE!” and then I got to meet the MUSE.

Now, in my world, Muse means inspiration: something or someone who gets your creative juices flowing. A muse helps bring art and creativity to the world. I know this because I watch a lot of TV—so it has to be true!

But then I met the MUSE – the brain sensing headband. At first, it looks like an Olivia Newton John accessory from 1982 (see? I’m totes old fashioned) but then you realize it’s much more than that!

I know that my brain goes a mile a minute. Sometimes it’s really hard to de-stress and just chill without a masseuse/man-servant. In fact, I even find it difficult to SAY the word “chill.” I’m one of those nervous type of people who thinks coffee is a good bedtime drink … I bore easily. I’m pretty sure I have ADHD. I just couldn’t sit still long enough to hear my doctor’s diagnosis! (and I’m single! Hello Gentlemen!) SO! For only three minutes a day, using the Muse helps to focus and calm my thoughts and really, who doesn’t have three minutes a day? It’s like the fastest workout ever. Three minutes a day? I’d do ANYTHING for three minutes a day … probably.

Everyone is always looking to fix the body, why not the brain! It’s the best muscle! (is it a muscle? I’ll look that up after). Keeping my brain fit is something I’m interested in. So if using the Muse helps to center my thoughts and keep my noodle happy, I’m happy. See how that works?
