oculus quest 2 untethered gamingAn Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.

Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached

Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

  1. I love that the Quest 2 is wireless, permitting better immersion. I would use it for everything it can be used for, including modelling for my 3D printer.

  2. Love that the Oculus Quest 2 is completely wireless and can navigate games, apps and movies through our phones. Will definitely be spending most of my times playing games and watching movies. Shooting zombies, driving F1 and riding roller coasters !!
    GL to all

  3. Oculus would allow me to connect with distant friends during the pandemic to watch movies, game or just hang out. Would be awesome to have.

  4. I’ve been dreaming of getting an Oculus Quest 2 for FORever!!! I know someone who has played the Oculus Quest and LOVED it. I played something similar at an arcade and it was sooooo much fun!! I would love to win so I could play games and watch movies! It would definitely be addicting. 🙂

  5. Ive loved the thought of VR for years, thinking about going into an alternate reality where you can basically do anything you want sounds amazing, about 3 or 4 years ago i bought a little vr headset that you put your phone in and i thought that was the coolest thing ever even though i could only watch youtube on it. Then i moved onto the google pixel vr and that actually had a remote but the only thing that changed was that i could watch netflix vr. One day i found this video game store that was letting people play on HTC vive headsets and that was the point where my life changed and i really wanted a headset, my favorite games on it were Superhot VR and valve’s the Lab. For superhot i love how its like a realistic shooter and you can do cool moves when dodging bullets. In the lab you can just experiment with the things around you and i thought that was amazing. I dont have the money to buy a headset now so ill have to wait probably like a year or two before im able to buy one. If i were to win this headset id use it untill its broken and thats most likely not going to happen, i love that headset.

  6. I would use it for gaming, but I didn’t know you could use it for movies!!! I will have to check it out!!!

  7. I love how for the price you’re getting a unit that is very close to the higher tier vr sets out there, as well as being able to go eother wireless or wired (and I hear virtual desktop works well too). Oculus has a winner on their hands, and I think this is going to be a game changer for the industry.

  8. I would love to take advantage to explore different things at this time of pandemic, be give you this possibility!

  9. I’d love to win this for my husband so he will be able to play vr games with his friends.
I love that it is wireless and doesn’t need a computer to use it

  10. I’ve never get t to experience VR but I love the wireless design and I’m a huge gamer who would love to finally experience VR!

  11. I’ve just learned to use unreal engine 4 and would use it to test VR games that I’ve built and havealit of fun. I’d build educational VR programs for my 1 yr daughter and share with all her future friends.

  12. I love how easy it is to set up (no external wires and base stations) and you don’t need an expensive PC to run it.

I want to play some beatsaber!!!

  13. I love that it’s wireless and doesn’t need sensors to be mounted on the wall! Would love to play some VR games and watch movies on it.

  14. Really like that this is a different platform and way of interacting with the gaming world. I don’t think I could handle adding another button on the already filled controllers for the other guys. I like the ideas of watching movies and a quick escape into an immersive environment.

  15. I love that it’s wireless and doesn’t need sensors to be mounted on the wall! Would love to play some VR games and watch movies on it.

  16. The best thing about the Oculus 2 is allowing me to visit places in VR that I may never get to visit in real life. I’m a Registered Nurse who spends his days fighting covid-19. I would use it to allow me to travel to far away world’s.. fantasy and real. Allowing me to escape the stress of patient care. Keep safe everyone. Wear a mask.

  17. I love th freedom of using the Quest 2 on the go, or with a computer. I’d use it to play the top titles on the Quest store!

  18. Love VR , got hooked with the gear Vr , unfortunately Samsung and Quest are no longer partners and the new phones aren’t compatible with gear. I’ve heard so many great things about the Quest 2 and everything its capable of, would be a dream to own that upgrade

  19. The best thing about the oculus quest two is that it doesn’t require a PC, that’s a good thing because PCs can get really expensive also I would use it to watch netflix and play beat saber.

  20. The best thing about the Quest 2? The huge step it takes for VR gaming and the unique experiences it offers.

  21. Being entirely self-contained and wireless is a real breakthrough for VR accessibility. The Quest was the first worthwhile VR headset that didn’t require any external hardware, and the Quest 2 improves on that to the point where the quality of the experience can, in many ways, compete with the Vive, Rift, PSVR and Index. I really look forward to having actually quality VR that’s not tethered to a PC.

  22. I really want to win it for my wife. She loves beat saber and some other games and I think she would get a ton of use out of it.

Her main use would be games that help you exercise. With the lockdowns and working from home she hasn’t been able to do much aside from sit at her computer and I think she would absolutely love a quest 2

  23. I think VR has finally arrived! I want to get one for my friend and family starting with my parents and my sister and myself. Beat saber multiplier is living proof that the future of humanity has arrived.

  24. I love that the headset is a standalone device and that there are no cables tying you to anything. It will probably be used most for gaming by me, movies by others in the family.

  25. I love that it’s hands free and has great games. I’d use it for gaming with my brothers who live in different states

  26. I love the Oculus Quest 2 because it makes the vr experience so easy. It doesn’t require a computer and it’s extremely portable. Revolutionary if you ask me.

  27. I’d love to play Beat Saber, Supernatural, and other dance and fitness games. I’d also use the fun 360 upgrades to rhe games I love since the original Quest. Excited that you can easily cast your headset to the TV so others can see what you see! What’s not to love!

  28. I would use Oculus Quest 2 to experience what the newest VR technology has to offer for example: Half-life: alyx, beat saber, etc. I would also use the Quest 2 to interact and chat with friends in a safe environment as covid has prevented me to go see people in real life. My little brother has shown interest in acquiring a vr headset so I would let him play with it also.

  29. I love that it can set up it’s own perimeter and has awesome tracking. I’d use it for some serious gaming.
