Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!

    • Love the Portability of the Quest 2 and the fact it’s gonna look better as well. Definitely going to use it for Gaming.. Phasmophobia primarily.

  15. Man I love my Quest 1. It is so cool to see fully realized worlds. Games like Red Matter, Arizona Sunshine and more lately Tales from Galaxy’s Edge are jaw-dropping when it comes to immersivess.

    The surprise benefit of my Quest is that it has become my daily workout with games like Supernatural (on a free trial), FitXR and anything like Beatsaber, Pistol Whip and Thrill of the Fight.

    Now though I love my Quest, the upgrade to Quest 2 is unbelievable. The increased power and resolution just adds a new level to that immersivess. I would really enjoy seeing these fantastic worlds in the higher detail of a Quest 2.

  17. I love the Oculus Quest 2 because it has no screen door effect, and because the snapdragon cpu is so advanced. I’d like to win one so I can leave my home at least virtually.

    I think as we’re all going through this pandemic, locked up in our houses, the applications like Oculus Quest are becoming more and more appealing.

    I’d love a chance to get one of these to enjoy the experience of the newest technology. Playing the games like Superhot, Star Wars, and many other ones would be great opportunities to have fun while staying safe at home.

  25. I’d use this Oculus Quest 2 for fitness and get a Supernatural account. I love that this VR allows the freedom to feel like you’ve completely went to another dimension, without leaving this one.

  28. What I love about Oculus Quest 2 is that it makes staying in shape, and getting fit, fun for everyone of all ages and weights! I will be using Oculus Quest 2 for fitness ie Supernatural game. I can’t wait!

  30. I love how VR is a whole new level of gaming for me. Being wireless without needing an expensive gaming computer is a huge bonus with the Quest 2. I would use this for mostly gaming, but I would take advantage of watching movies with it as well.

      • Both my parents are essential workers during the pandemic and giving them the opportunity to escape their reality and explore a different universe would be amazing. I want to give them a break and I think that the oculus is a perfect escape from reality even just for a minute.

  39. No wires is just pure freedom. Vr needs these types of consumer oriented appropriate steps forward to grow the VR industry. I’m excited to get one!

    I would mostly use it for gaming and checking out all the games I’ve missed out on.

  40. I’ve always wanted a VR headset but could never afford one. I had fun with the cardboard versions but never truly experienced an immersive VR experience.   43. I love this technology. And this would be a great tools for my son’s learning. He wants a VR game and I think it could be a good time for him to have one for fun and education as well.

  45. I like the high refresh rate of the Quest 2. I would use it to play multiplayer games with my friends who also have Quest devices.

  47. I just sold my PSVR headset to get this, this headset is totally worth it. It’s wireless, safe and has a good set of library for applications.

    I wish they can make use of AR to make games and use it for productivity (education and other Industries e.g. flying a drone using AR)!

    • Oculus Quest 2 is the first VR headset aimed for everyone. It’s price is low, it’s functionality is out of this world and the whole thing just works. It’s great.

  50. I love how much power it packs into a great value VR Headset. I would love to be able to experience VR for the first time as it looks so cool. I see all sorts of fun BR’s or Beat Saber, so I’d love to finally get my hands on one!
