An Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.
Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached
Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!
We sent the prizes that we are giving away in this contest to our writers for an honest review. Read what Dave said about the new Oculus Quest 2 and you’ll understand why this is a big step forward for virtual reality.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy, and you can enter once below this article and once below the review article for the Oculus Quest 2. In each comment, tell us what you love about the Oculus Quest 2 and what you will use it for (gaming, movies, etc.).
What you can win
At the end of this contest, we will randomly select two (2) winners, and each will get one of the Oculus Quest 2 64GB VR Headset with Touch Controllers that were tested by the reviewers.
This contest will run from Dec 4th to Dec 18th.
Remember, you can enter once below this article and once below the review article for the Oculus Quest 2. Also, share with anyone you know who would also love a chance to have fun with the newest VR technology available.

I’ve wanted an oculus quest 2 ever since it came out do to the fact that it doesn’t need a computer and all of my friends got an oculus and they love there’s I would really love to have the quest 2 so I could play with my friends watch TV and have a vr headset its just such a good deal
I would love to have one of these but as a full time student can’t afford much and as a full time employee too I wouldn’t even have time spend in one of these. If I win I will give this to my brothers for Christmas.
I find the oculus 2 intriguing, as from the reviews I’ve seen they sometimes comment on how the screen door effect is mostly gone/greatly improved, compared to older vr headsets. If I were to get one I would use it to experience all what be has to offer for the first time–gaming, socializing and watching videos online.
Thanks for your time!
I really love the quest 2s concept. It’s fun, easy and relaxing at the same time for whatever you decide to do. I wish I could grab one off these to share the world of VR with my family and (post pandemic) friends!
I’d probably use it to try out some of the games I’ve been looking at and I’m excited to see how my dad reacts when I put it on him if I get it
I love the high resolution screens, if I win I will be playing the heck out of Beat Saber on this thing.
I love the 90Hz high res display and untethered gaming!
Nothing would make my girlfriend’s Christmas more merry then cordless virtual smut.
I would use the Quest to play games with my daughter
My friend is getting one for Christmas and I would love to be able to play multiplayer VR games with them on the best available VR headset!
For a safe way to spend time with family and friends
And for pretend theater nights at home
I want this to use to interact safely with my friends and family in these trying times
And to go to concerts I would not have been able to attend in person.
Pretend theater home nights
The number ONE is the resolution and the fact that is cheaper then the other rival’s, makes oculus quest 2 a MUST WIN.
i want one so bad.
The fact that it does not need a pc is amazing. Maybe I will finally get in shape if I win!

Just for fun use at home

I love the fact that you don’t need to set up any external tracking cameras. This makes it easy to travel with and enjoy wherever you go. I also like the fact that you don’t need a powerful pc rig to play it, but you still have the option to connect it to one for an even better experience. I would definitely use it for gaming and movie watching.
I think the wireless component of it will be really cool for my kids. This seems like the first VR unit that can work for younger kids.
I like the Oculus Quest 2 is that I can take it anywhere, wireless. I would use it for some gaming and movies too.
I love the fact that it can be used with pc with a cable.
Then disconnect and take on the go. Looking forward to it.
Love its wireless and i will use it for gaming
Would really like to create 3d art with the quest 2. Iv been needing a creative outlet during the pandemic.
I like how the oculus quest 2 does not need a computer to run virtual reality games. The games are not small either.
I will use this headset for being more active and using the chat features to talk and play with people from around the world
I love that it’s standalone and wireless, and will definitely be using it to play co-op games with my friend when i convince him to grab one!
I love the multi-player functionality and the pure versatility of playing wireless or using steam vr. Also the controllers are incredibly well designed and the sensors really add to immersion. I would use it to play games and watch movies and TV with my father, who already has a quest 2. Our love for VR has really brought us together.
I love the portability of the quest 2 and I would use it to keep fit!
I love that it is wireless and you can easily bring it to a friend’s house.
I love the potential for distance education using the oculus quest. With 2 young children during a pandemic, an oculus quest 2 would allow my kids to explore and learn more easily from home.
I love the portability of the quest 2 and I would use it for a fitness routine
The new refresh rate and the fact it’s untethered is just so cool! I’d use it to game and live experiences!
I love Oculus Quest 2 since it is a new version of Quest and is more reliable, fast with light weight headset which will be less painful for wearing it for long hours compared to the former one. Also, it has come up with decent controller color with a change in controller button position to handle the controller easily and better control it while playing. It has always been my dream to purchase this device after I had experience Quest at my friends house. Totally down for it. I would love to win this for sure to play next level games.
I love the fact that it can immerse you into games by being mobile, free of cumbersome wires. It’s not like putting your phone into it with those type of graphics.
They did a lot of work to make this 2nd iteration top the first quest which is also fantastic and make it comfortable for user too.
If I were to win one or buy one soon, I’m looking forward to playing sports and exercise games. Great for winter indoors during a pandemic too. Plus Netflix and Youtube would be a trip.
I would love to use it for games – it’s amazing that it can be used for both standalone and pc gaming! I’d love to try out some beat saber, asgard’s wrath, and half-life alyx, among others.
It’s just like going into a new dimension…it’s mind blowing!!
My daughter has been asking for one for Christmas (a little out of my price range unfortunately) :/ she would use it for gaming on her PC.
I would love to detach from reality and instantly ‘go off’ somewhere else. I would mostly use this for watching movies.
Wireless is the future also, 90hz is great to avoid motion sickness
I would also, use it for real-time development and gami g obviously ☺
I will use the Quest 2 for gaming while not attached to anything
I love that it’s wireless. I would connect it to my PC and try sculpting in VR for 3d printing, plus getting exercise while playing games is s bonus.
My son is amazed at the graphics for games and movies. My son loves sports and thru this virus he has not been able to play team sports this will keep him.moving while in the house. He has done amazing in school thru this virus and he deserves one.
I love how it’s wireless. I will be doing work on the Quest.
I love that it’s wireless, and will use it gor gaming.
I like the fact that the Oculus Quest 2 is a standalone system, since my desktop isn’t the strongest.
I would use it for media consumption and gaming.
I love that the Oculus let’s me interact with friends during various stay at home orders
My son first played this on Thanksgiving. He didn’t even want to eat. He was playing The Oculus so hard he was sweating so bad. Now all he asks for is me to buy him one. It’s out of my price range so this would be perfect if I could win.
Love that it is wireless and it was easy to set up .
I would probably use it for movies but games are fun too!
The oculus quest 2 has good graphics and no computer is required. Win win for gamers.
My 16 year old is a gamer and wants to find another way to connect with his friends. He likes the fact that he can use it on the PC that he built and that it is wireless.
If for some strange reason I actually won this, I would play beat saber mostly. I’d also play some vader immortal dojo and some other games.
As soon as another company comes out with a decent self contained headset though, I would buy that and get rid of the quest. I really hate Facebook’s invasion of privacy, censoring, anti competitive practices, etc.
