A brother and sister team

For the first time ever in an Assassin’s Creed history, you will be able to play as two different Assassins. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate features a brother and sister duo, Jacob and Evie Frye, who were born in a small town just outside of London. The twins were raised as assassins to follow the Creed. Jacob Frye is the leader of an underground gang, who is impulsive, reckless, and a defiant leader. His twin sister, Evie Frye, is a stark contrast to her brother. She is level headed, intelligent, and a master of stealth. Together both Jacob and Evie arrive in London set out to take control of the city back from the Templars.

Control the London Underworld

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate features the largest, most modern, and life-like open-world city to date in the franchise. With no multiplayer or co-op modes, Ubisoft Quebec focused on making the seven boroughs as detailed and varied as possible.

London was a defining leader during the Industrial Revolution and was often thought whomever controlled London controlled the world. To control the city, Jacob and Evie need to recruit and unify the street gangs of London under a single banner. You will fight these Templar controlled gang members and leaders using a faster, more responsive fighting system than used in previous games. You have new weapons at your disposal including brass knuckles for close combat, a cane sword for maximum stealth, and a compact revolver for maximum impact.

Travel the fast-paced world

Ubisoft Quebec brings new unique modes of transportation, and navigation to Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. For example, there is a rope launcher which allows you to climb buildings with great speed and ease. Even better, you can use the same rope launcher to form a zip-line between buildings, allowing you to perform assassinations from above while remaining undetected.

Traveling around the city is faster than ever before, you can hijack any horse-drawn carriage you see, ride a top high-speed trains, or ride a steamboat along the famous River Thames. Carriages serve more than one purpose, you can hide in them, use them to run over enemies, chase down foes, or make a quick getaway from your adversaries.
