Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Probably anything about the next generation of consoles. I’ve been following this pretty closely and don’t expect anything from Sony after April’s info but hopefully Microsoft says some stuff about Xbox to try and get more out there in terms of what they’re aiming for. I am excited for the future of games!
I am hands down most excited for Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 3. I played the original Borderlands 10 years ago as a first year university student and it completely mesmerized me. It became a game for me to lose myself in and enjoy alone, or with friends. Ever since I have been hooked on the series and have played every piece of DLC to date including the amazing Tales from the Borderlands. The game has helped me through some tough times, and helped me share in the good times as well. It can not come soon enough!
Very excited for Xbox one x the division 2
The gaming announcement which got me most excited for 2019 was Hideo Kojima’s new game Death Stranding by his own game studio Kojima productions! The trailer that dropped at Sony’s E3 conference was so mysterious and great i really want to know more about the game and besides Hideo Kojima is great at making awesome games so i really look forward to it. And since it’ll be a Sony ps4 exclusive release when it drops in november a ps4 would be the perfect game system to play that game 🙂
Excited for everything but wants to see if there’s anything on the last of us 2
I’m really excited for Metroid Prime 4 for the Nintendo Switch developed by Retro Studios. I have played the previous Metroid prime games on the Nintendo GameCube and Wii and this just brings back all the good times and has me itching for more combat with space pirates!
Call of duty: modern warfare. On PS4. Modern wafare was the gateway to stress release for me . I love first person shooters.
I am super excited for Borderlands 3 and the rumors that are swirling around another borderlands 2 expansion to fill in the gap between 2 and 3 considering it’s the only game i really play at the moment, the new Avengers game from square enix and hopefully it will be released across multiple platforms because i don’t believe in console exclusives because in my opinion it hurts the developers inn the long run, and of course the Microsoft presser should be full of surprises and possibly the announcement of a new console
My sons and I are really excited about Mario on the switch! We would love to try out a switch and Mario is a classic!
I want a gaming headset by Corsair because I was gonna get one for Christmas, but decided to donate that money to charity
I’m REALLY hyped for Death Stranding by Kohima Productions. The mechanics and storyline are so rad and unique plus anything with Norman Reedus rocks!
Pokemon sword and shield for the switch
I am so excited for the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for the Nintendo Switch. Ever since Nintendo announced this, I’ve been really excited to see how they redo this classic game. I loved this game so much when I was a kid. Can’t wait.
I truly hope Activision get this right. The new COD will hopefully be fantastic. Love to play on the ps4 prize. Might have been addicted to the older versions of the past, especially playing with buddies.
I am extremely excited for more news about the game Borderlands 3 from Developer “Gearbox”! I love the game play and how it does well on all the platforms. I came across the 1st game on steam and can’t believe how strong the community is still after so many years! I also love seeing all the new hardware that is coming out! I am a gaming junkie and love new tech! Looking forward to new VR announcements as well!
I’m excited for the Sony PS5 because of the full backwards compatibility!
I was really excited for Kingdom Hearts 3 to come out since it’s been years since the second one and I use to play it constantly with my little brother who passed away due to cancer. So it was a good memory I was able to look back at while playing the game.

Super excited for Super Mario Maker 2 for Nintendo Switch!
Excited to see Luigi’s Mansion 3 on the Nintendo Switch. Loved that game growing up and excited to see it updated.
So far, I’m most excited for the release date confirmations of both Bloodstained and Death Stranding. Knowing they’re finally both coming out this year is so exciting because I want both games to do well and make a point about how developers/publishers like Konami need more than their own name and legacy to gain success. I want Bloodstained and Death Stranding to release and be successful to show that the way Konami treated Iga and Kojima (and who knows how many other, less visible devs) as disposable cogs in their machine doesn’t fly.
Super Mario Maker 2 on Nintendo Switch
Most excited about the Oculus Quest annoucements. I haven’t ordered it yet, but standalone VR is very appealing to the masses and i’m excited to see how VR continues to improve and become more immersive over time
My family and I are most excited about the switch Mario 2 that’s coming out. My family and I love game night. This would be an amazing edition.

I can’t wait for September when Borderlands 3 comes out it is made by gearbox software. It is important to me because I have been a hardcore fan of this series since the first borderlands and it is a game
I’m excited about the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game. (Announced by Activision/Infinity Ward and Microsoft.) Used to play with my brother and it’ll be cool to play this one.
I am REALLY excited for the Avengers game, I’ve been waiting for a legit Avengers game for years! If I could win the PS4 bundle to play Spiderman in the meantime, that’d be really nice!

I’m super excited for the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare. This was one of the first games I got super into, and I’ll never forget playing this with my friends online when I was a kid. While the series has continued to grow and evolve Modern Warfare will always have a special place with me in gaming history!

The thing I’m most excited for is more gameplay of BORDERLANDS 3 published by 2k. I’ve sunk in well over 800 hours on borderlands 2 alone and I’m still finding more ways to continue playing it! The new game comes to us at the Time of next ten consoles letting them expand the game engine and get so much more into it making it bigger than any past rendition. Can’t wait to loot and shoot

SUPER DUPER excited for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order announced by Nintendo and developed by Team Ninja, I’ve played both 1 & 2 and have fond memories and after Avengers: Endgame it’s brought even more excitement!

Hi there, I’m excited for Modern Warfare. I’ve been waiting years to see what happened to Price after Makorovs death. Activision an Infinity Ward together again. I’ve already placed my pre order. It’s important to me cause I wanted my son to get to play one when he’s in his teens, they were a huge part of my childhood. You can never forget sniping with Kamarov, watching Ghost die or Soap dying, and I’m excited that they’re remastering the old ones and bringing a new one. It looks gorgeous.
So excited for Zelda Link’s Awakening by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch!!! I grew up playing this game on my Game Boy with my sister sitting in the back of the car on road trips! I can’t wait to see what they’ve done with it!!!

the remake of FFVII is what I am excited for because it was one of the first games I got when I bought a PS as a kid after saving up Allowance for a year and it still remains at the top of my list of all time favourites. As soon as I can pre order it for PS4 I am hitting that order button so hard
