Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Respawn Entertainment did well with the Titanfall series, and hopefully EA won’t butcher this one like Battlefront 2. Fingers crossed.
Im looking forward to Gamefreak’s updates on the new Pokemon Sword and Sheild games. I’ve been a fan since Gen 3’s Hoenn, but after a while Pokemon became just a number cruncher to me. But with the Hoenn remake in gen 6, i started enjoying it again, and I genuinely had fun playing Moon/Ultra Moon. I am really looking forward to a full-res main series game on my Nintendo switch (i skipped Let’s Go! so hd pokemon will be brand new for me in November). I havent been this excited for a game release since Breath of the Wild.

Excited for kingdom hearts! We are a Disney house. My kids love it and it brings us together as a family playing different games together
Jedi fallen order. Respawn plus Star Wars. Hopefully a perfect combo. Finally time for a great EA Star Wars game. Also borderlands 3. My son and I play borderlands 2 a lot. It’s a great time together.
My whole family is excited for both Pokémon Sword & Shield by GameFreak because we are huge Pokémon fans and what has been announced about the game so far. Also excited for the new Animal Crossing game by Nintendo. We all loved playing New Leaf and can’t wait to see what Nintendo has in store for us this time around.
I’m for sure the most excited about the borderlands 3 announcement by gearbox software. Because the graphics in the game look amazing while still keeping true to the art style of the past games!

I’m most excited about Borderlands 3!! Because well a new borderlands!!! Who isn’t excited for this release? I’ve played all three Borderlands titles with my son and we are both pumped for this latest release.

I am excited for the annoucment for borderlands 3 by gearbox. This will be important to me because it will be another game i get to play with friends since it is one of the few games that will have co op story mode. So more gaming times with friends from around the world 🙂
I am excited for Super Mario Maker 2 announced by Nintendo. I love the Super Mario games and I am excited for Super Mario Maker 2 because it adds a story mode which the first version was lacking.

I am super excited about the release of CyberPunk 2077, its going to be a big game with so much to do and customize. Being able to play in such an environment as that would be a great experience.

I’m actually very excited about Shenmue 3. Shenmue 1 & 2 are my favorite games of all time. Those two games got me through a very tough time in my life where I was battling depression. If you have never played them I highly recommend it. But anyways Shenmue 3 is slated to come out on my birthday this year and I would love to play it on a new console!
