Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. I’m so excited about the new Pokemon sword/and maybe a new zelda game? And of course, the release date of zelda link’s awakening remaster!! Because since I’ve finished breath of the wild I have no more zelda game to play!

The announcement and launch of the The Golf Club 2019 by HB Studios as a replacement to EA Sports PGA has me excited because of the list of venues and course builder application. Since I’m incapable of being out on the fairways these days, it will be an excellent change of pace!!!
I can’t wait till the new Diablo three comes out for the Nintendo switch
Anything from CD Projekt Red about Cyberpunk 2077 is what has me most excited. Cyberpunk themes, any look into the future that isn’t desolate fuels my imagination and fills me with wonder. Cyberpunk 2077 does that like Kingdom Come Deliverance does for my medieval fix. At least from my impressions so far.
I’m really excited about the announced Ubisoft game title: Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint! I look forward to the challenge of survival in this game. The realism and storyline in this game has me anticipating how everything will end, especially with the announced large map! As a fan of the Assassin’s Creed series as well, Ubisoft just gets it.
I was truly excited when Microsoft announced 343 Studios Halo Infinite for the Xbox. My very first Xbox bundle came with the original Halo and I have been a fan ever since, continuing the story through books and movies. Got the Master Chief collection because I was nostalgic for all the great games of Halo’s past. Cortana is my personal assistant. Can’t get enough Halo. I know what I will say when the new Halo comes out… “I need a weapon!”
Marvel Avengers, and the new Halo. Haven’t given up on that franchise yet.
I am most excited for the Dying Light 2 announcement because the first game was such a refreshment to the zombie genre. Since square Enix/techland is manufacturing it across the states I think it will be during their announcement. Or it will be in the Xbox announcement. Either way the first game had amazing character development, and stories! Jumping off a bridge from 100 feet made you feel as if yourself was free falling.

Can’t wait for The last of Us 2!!! Or halo collection for xbox!

I am most excited to hear more about Cyberpunk 2077, the CD Projekt game that is slated for release this year. I love that the game has a Bladerunner vibe to it and the gameplay video they released earlier this year looked incredible.
I am looking forward to the Final Fantasy VII Remake the most! I hope it will be more of an RPG game than an action game though….FFVII is such a classic and one of the best RPGs; big world, lots of side quests, good story, and so on, hopefully Square Enix won’t mess it up and keep it true to the original. FFXV was pretty disappointing after all the changes they did, the storyline and side quests mainly (way too repetitive and no depths). Then there is Link’s Awakening (definitely getting it when it is released!) and Death Stranding. Interested in Death Stranding simply because of Kojima, long-term fan of Metal Gear Solid (the ones that Kojima developed). Both FFVII and Link’s Awakening bring back so many childhood memories, just by looking at the screenshots & trailers…
Star Wars and Pokemon! Bring on the nostalgia.
The game I’m currently looking forward to the most is Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2. I played the original last year and really enjoyed it and really wished it would get a sequel or a reboot but considering it came out in 2004, it seemed unlikely. So when Paradox Interactive announced that they were making a sequel with the people who made the original game, I was thrilled. I’ve always liked vampires and RPG style games with multiple endings so when you combine them, I get very interested.
I’m excited for Watch Dogs 3 and hopefully Assassin’s Creed game because knowing UBISOFT, their games just keep getting better and better

I am looking forward to the new Pokémon Sword game by Nintendo. It looks like lots of fun.
For me it would have to be when Capcom announced the Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter World. The game is great for pushing the merchandise to the world but it lacked an ice/snow map and ice-type monsters commonly found in previous games. The Iceborne expansion seems like it would fix that and add more depth to the game.

Control from Remedy for PC. Loved Max Payne and looks like a modern version of Psy ops. Can’t wait! Psy power and gunplay mix well.

I’m really hoping for Halo Infinite from 343 Industries! It’s been almost 4 years since halo 5 launched so it’s about time we get an announcement for when infinite’s coming out! The game engine teaser trailer from last year looked amazing as well! Would be awesome to see some gameplay

THE one game I was most excited to hear about has to be DEATH STRANDING by Kojima Productions. I have always been a fan of the Fallout series, Metal Gear Solid’s, zombie apocalypse games and espionage games. But more than that, I love open world games, ones that allow you to move throughout an epic landscape, free to discover every nook and cranny. Add big actor leads and I think Death Stranding is poised to become a huge hit!
I am excited to see if the new Rockstar GTA title is announced this E3.
