Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I’m looking forward to Destiny Connect from NIS America. Not many ps4 games are of interest to my daughter (my son loves most of them). Destiny connect looks like a neat story line and something she would enjoy .

I am most excited for the announcement of the release date for Death Stranding. I am a big fan of Sony and of Hideo Kojima. I played all his games since MGS in 1998 and I believe he is a visionary. MGS 3 Snake Eater is one of my favourite games of all times. My dream is to someday travel to Japan and meet Kojima San in person, but for now playing DS will have to do 🙂
I think Dangerous Driving will be a good addition to the console games. Especially since they ( Three Fields Entertainment) are saying that “Dangerous Driving is considered by many to be the spiritual successor to the Burnout series“.
I’m most excited for the new Total War Three Kingdoms game by Sega. I always loved the Three Kingdoms content.
I’m most excited for FF7 remake since it really was the best game I’ve played in my teen years!
I am super excited for the announcement of Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Activision and Infinity Ward has the interest of long time fans like myself to bring back some of the greatest memories from the CoD franchise. The nostalgia from returning characters and a simple feeling game has been highly anticipated by the community for the last couple of years. Excited to get a first look at the game at E3!
I’m excited for Nintendo’s new Animal Crossing game to be revealed. I hope they release a special edition switch console for it as well. I’ve been playing animal crossing for years. That game’s gotten me through good and bad times and it’s going to get me through a lot more.
I’m excited to see Google Stadia a new cloud gaming service. The reason why i’m excited about this is because it’s a new technology service and looks awesome!
I am most looking forward to Persona 5: The Royal. I have almost platinum-ed the Ultimate Edition, and I am impatient to experience the new content!

Really looking forward to more information on Respawn and EA’s Jedi: Fallen Order. It’s been a long time since there’s been a game catering to those of us that don’t spend a ton of time playing multiplayer.
It’s gotta be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Why? I’m supes glad you asked. Because I can’t wait to get back to wall running. And COD is how I keep in touch with my brother. No matter where I’m at in the country, we always find time to meet and get chirped at by kids 1/3 our age. It keeps us grounded.
I am most excited for the Square Enix Avengers game because I like Marvel, and Square Enix. I hope the game is good and I’m very excited.
I’m super excited about Pokémon for the switch!!! The new Pokemon sword is definitely something I am keeping my eye on. I’ve had a lot of Nintendo products in my lifetime my first one being Pokémon yellow! So seeing how Pokémon has evolved and seeing a new game coming in the near future is so exciting!

I am most excited for possible new console announcements. I have been playing video games from all three console makes and I am a major video game enthusiast.
PS5, XBox’s next console and an upgraded Nintendo Switch revision are the rumored announcements that would make the most impact for me.

Sony’s early announcement of the PlayStation 5 (or whatever they call it) is already the most exciting news of the year. It’s setting the bar for the next generation of consoles and what they can do, such as extremely fast loading times and more realistic lighting.
I’m super stocked for more details from Square Enix for The Avengers game. Square Enix is one of my favorite developers, the graphics and story’s that they put into their games is magical. Hope we finally get a penultimate Avengers RPG game of sorts! Can’t wait!
I’m most excited for Call of Duty Modern Warfare by Infinity Ward! This is important to me because I love a modern remake of such a classic favorite of mine, it’s so nostalgic!
I’m really excited for the new Halo: Infinite game on the Microsoft Xbox One because the Halo series is what really kicked off my passion for gaming and it holds a special place in my heart!
It hasn’t been announced, and there is a chance it won’t be, but I am hoping Nintendo will announce a new version of the Switch. I’ve been holding off buying one, but I decided this is the year to jump in and it would be cool if there was an updated version to get.
I’d have to say I’m most excited about Netflix entering the gaming world! From what I have read, they will be turning some of their original shows into games. How awesome! I am most excited for Pokemon Sword and Shield for the Nintendo Switch announced by Nintendo. I have always been a Pokemon fan and eagerly await this game as it will be the first main Pokemon franchise to be released on a console and not a handheld and will also include a brand new region.
Most excited for Death Stranding, it looks amazing!!! Oh and can’t forget about Borderlands 3, such a fun game to play with fiends.
I can’t wait for Crash Team Racing. It will bring back memories of the 90’s playing marathons on the PS1.

I’m most excited for more information about Death Stranding coming to the PS4. Hideo Kojima is a visionary and it is exciting that this will be his first large independent release.
I’m hoping to see something new, something that’s not a scam. Or some damage control from the AAA developers and publishers that have dragged their reputations through the mud the last few years. Anthem? CoD? Battlefield/front? Fallout? It’s time to move the games industry out of the “live service” (scam) era, and back to a consumer first era.
I’m most excited for Pokemon Sword/Shield by Game Freak. My girlfriend and I really bonded over Pokemon and it’s been a fun thing that we can do together since we first started dating. I’m really looking forward to curling up on the couch and playing through it with her.
I love playing Mario bros ,I grew up with super Mario and donkey kong and still play it on my wii u would love to play it on a Nintendo switch it would make my heart melt to do this

The thing I’m most excited for in 2019 comes from ConcernedApe (aka Eric Barone) that a new content patch will be coming out for his game, Stardew Valley. That game is pure genius.
Elder scrolls 6 be Bethesda is the best thing coming up for me! ED5: Skyrim has been the most time consuming (in a good way) game for my last 5 years so I’m excited to see what comes next.
New ps5 console
I am most excited to hear more about Cyberpunk 2077, the CD Projekt game that is slated for release this year. I love that the game has a Bladerunner vibe to it and the gameplay video they released earlier this year looked incredible.
Excited to hear about any new Zelda game, long time fan, I usually buy all the new HD remakes when they come out

Final Fantasy 7 remake by Square Enix. I’m super excited to see more of this game and I feel like it is finally going to get a release date since the announcement so many years ago. I love pretty much everything made by Square Enix. Huge fan of every final fantasy game and Square Enix games were a huge part of my child hood so I am beyond excited for a remake of one of my all time favorites.
Looking forward to Borderlands 3 the most. Immersive gameplay, hilarious storylines, and just all out fun!
I’m happy that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be cross-platform. (Infinity ward). I’m about to buy a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X I haven’t decided yet. I sold my ps4 slim last month. I instantly regretted it. Call of Duty was my favourite back from 2010-2013, so I’m excited to be able to play with my friends online who own different consoles.
I’m excited to get a second look at Skull & Bones from Ubisoft. Ubisoft premiered the trailer for this last year and I’m eager for a release date and new gameplay footage. This will be a great open world multiplayer game for gaming nights on the PS4 – can’t wait!

To be quite honest, and this is totally surprising, my most excited announcement at the moment is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare by Activision and Infinity Ward. Call of Duty as a series has a special place in my heart since it was one of the first gaming franchises that I played almost yearly. It looks like the game is taking it back to its roots while hitting on all the things I hope for in a new series installment (e.g., modern or historic setting, realistic and emotional story, and gameplay innovations). Coupled with the impressive recently released reveal trailer and some insider tidbits from the media, I believe this just might be a return to form for Call of Duty.
I am looking forward to the Zelda spin-off, Cadence of Hyrule, because I’ve been a long-time fan of Zelda!
