Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. I’m looking forward to the new Xbox and games coming out
I’m really looking forward to Nintendo’s offerings for the Switch. I’ve been eyeing it for a while now as a second gaming console for my home. And although I’ve been only playing Fire Emblem on mobile, I felt a recent attachment to the franchise and the characters, so if there’s an announcement about FE, I’m all eyes and ears! And who knows, maybe this year will further convince my family to get a Switch, as my wife was a Nintendo fan growing up and this could rekindle her excitement again.
I’m also looking forward to whatever title Ubisoft has planned this year. If it’s a new Prince of Persia, I’m all over that!

WHAT ANNOUNCEMENT: Best Buy announcing that I am a winner
WHY: Because I really really want a new system and some games
Other than that 🙂 , I would say Square Enix and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Because it was the one and only Final Fantasy game I played and I loved it beyond anything.
One more hope is for Google to announce more of it’s Stadia platform.
As an older gamer, I don’t have time or money to research/buy new game systems and see what games are worth my money.
Google will hopefully give me it all. Anytime. Anywhere. I like that.
I’m really excited for Microsoft about the Xbox Gamepass for PC. It’s importrant to me because I’m playing on PC and my brother have an Xbox one, I’ve always wanted to play lots of different multiplayer games on Xbox Gamepass together with my brother. And It’s a great decision from Microsoft and we can’t wait for it to happen.
Mario Maker 2. I never had a Wii U so I never played the original. But with the switch and the ability to take that anywhere I go and constantly recieve new levels created by people or create my own. Super hyped and excited for it to come out.
I am excited for Pokemon sword and shield and seeing what else is in store for this rendition of the series this time around.
I’m most looking forward to hearing more about Borderlands 3 from Gearbox. My group of gaming friends are big fans of the looter-shooter genre largely because of the many hours cooperative fun the original borderlands series was to play together.
Kind of hard this year since I’m Sony Guy and they are skipping E3 so i’ll go with Squarenix with a release date for Final Fantasy 7 remake part 1.
Looking forward to more news on Gears 5, Borderlands 3 & New console.

I’m most excited for Luigi’s Mansion 3. My dad bought my the original GameCube Luigi’s Mansion when I was just a kid and I’ve loved playing the series with him ever since.
I’m truly hoping to see Respawn Entertainment & Electronic Arts make a big showing for Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order. As a huge Star Wars fan I’ve been pining for a new Star Wars franchise game after Battlefront II left a lot of people, including myself, rather disappointed. The cinematic teaser for the game looked pretty amazing, and I’m anxious to see them really put a large effort into making this game a go-to game, if not a staple must-own game for the Star Wars franchise.

I’m anzious to hear about the new Xbox console.
My game of the year that i want is from CD Projekt and it can only be CyberPunk 2077 for the PC! CyberPunk 2077 pulls at my mecha strings im such a big fan on the genre. I played all sorts of games like Deus EX and i’ve watched shows and movies like Ghost in the Shell.
Nintendo’s Super Mario Maker 2 has me deeply excited. Infinite Mario levels! Who can say no to that? I missed the first one. I’m ready. I need it yesterday.
I’m always excited to hear if there are any new Ubisoft Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, or Sony/Naughty Dog Uncharted announcements. I’m totally enthralled with those franchises.
I’ve put off a 4K TV purchase until I either win a Sony PS4 Pro, or the Sony PS5 is released, which I will immediately buy along with a new TV.
E3 is always the event to watch for the latest news.
I’m excited to see more from Ubisoft’s “Beyond Good and Evil 2”. They haven’t shown much of the game so far but, if they can realize the concept, it looks like we could have something truly groundbreaking; something that redefines games and open worlds for this and/or the next generation. Despite looking like a very different game from the original (which I loved), that game introduced a ton of innovative ideas for the time and I’m hoping for something equally original and exciting.
Interested in FF7 remake and the new AMD navi gpu’s that will be a part of the next gen console and pc’s.
I’m most looking forward to the release of “Borderlands 3” from gearbox software on September. 13th. I mean what’s not to get hyped about?! The entire game franchise has been filled with awesome sauce! From awesome story lines, characters and weapons to its unique graphic style. This game is sure to be another knockout!
For me, the most intriguing announcement is for Marvel’s Avengers by Square Enix/Crystal Dynamics/Edios Montreal/Marvel Games. Some leaks already have it sounding like a Destiny style game. Super excited to get even more info on this game! Fingers crossed for a gameplay trailer and release date!!!

Sony doesn’t just make great games…it creates experiences. Period.
I am most excited for Cyberpunk 2077 because Developer CD Projekt Red has never let me down, they have made some of the most beautiful and captivating games ever, one of the few companies that I will not skip the cut scenes on.
There are so many things to be excited for this E3! A new Star Wars game from Respawn, Death Stranding, Last of Us 2, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, and hopefully a release date for Dreams. I’d also love for some info on a PSVR2 system with integrated streaming support for twitch with the PS5 and an optional model that doesnt require the PS camera. Untethered VR on the next gen PS consile with built in streaming e tensions would be amazing!
Excited for Call of Duty Modern Warfare coming out on October 25, 2019! It’s good to finally see the company going back to its roots bringing back a lot of the old fans!

Animal Crossing 2019 game from Nintendo, I have been waiting since New Leaf; the other releases in the franchise were not fulfilling. Definitely looking forward to this release.
Ubisoft and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint
Im excited for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake developed by Square Enix for Ps4. The new trailers look amazing and ive always been interested in the original but the graphics made it difficult to go back and play.
Gears 5! And always excited to see what exclusives PlayStation is gonna show!

I’m looking most forward to sony’s medievil remake for ps4! I used to play this game with my dad when I was a kid (pretty sure it was the only game we ever played together besides super mario bros.) can’t wait to hear and see more about this game, hopefully they include the second one as well!
I’m really excited for the new Animal Crossing game coming to the Switch from Nintendo. The original was my favourite game for the gamecube, and to me the ultimate ZEN game. I have such fond memories of feeling so relaxed, and learning important lessons about community and empathy from that game honestly.
I’m looking forward to the new Xbox – Project Scarlett. I’m going to get it as soon as it is available. 🙂 I really like the color idea for the next-gen Xbox. This one will surely going to be an awesome console!

Nintendo prize Pack#1: why? B/c childhood memories and as much as I love Xbox/PS/PC, the classics always win over my heart and endearment, plus it would be a blessing to share it with my colleagues and closest circle of friends.
Legend of Zelda steals my heart bc, when I got my first N64 and Zelda first came out, I had a gaming theatre night where I condensed all the games into a projector I narrowed from school and hosted a Zelda animated movie night and as a poor kid on the block it earned me a lot of friendship points back then and got me connected to the nerds of the group which later on helped me to guide other children with learning disabilities.
Xbox game pass announcement is the greatest bc it’s simply the cheapest format to online gaming access for parents and those who take pride in the canadian dollar and the value of money in general. Thank Microsoft Canada and Microsoft Cooperation for their continual leadership and mentorship that promote quality releases for quality prices that respect the average joe.

The gaming announcement has me most excited in 2019 is Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield because I love Pokémon, I have played every Pokémon game, have all of the Pokémon games in physical copies, I still watch the show and have been since the first episode plus I have all the strategy guides for each Pokémon game. I have a Pokémon phone case, wall paper, text tone, ring tone, wallet, key chain , bed sheets, pillow, glasses, bowels, t shirts, pajamas and more. The manufacturer who made the announcement is Nintendo. The title of the gaming item is Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. This announcement is so important to because it another Pokémon game and on non handheld console for the first time. The title is developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch
