Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. With the rapidly changing gaming landscape thanks to new streaming options you may have recently changed where and when you play games.

I am most excited for more news about Final Fantasy 7 Remake from Square Enix on PlayStation 4. This was the first game I ever fell in love with and the remake is the most exciting thing in gaming as far as I am concerned! Please let this be the year!

I am sooo excited for news surrounding Death Stranding on Playstation 4! This game is gearing up to be one of the most interesting and original mechanics-wise that we’ve seen in a while, and I can’t wait to play it!
I haven’t owned a console in years but I’m excited to get back into it after learning about EA Access. I love to casually play sports games, but the cost of buying all of them is too much for me. I like that with access I can play all of them for a low monthly subscription. It’s even enough to get me to switch from ps to Xbox!
I am most excited for the arrival of Playstation 5.
I am most excited for the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Developed by Activision, Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer, and others. This has me excited because it has the potential to be the most competitive CoD game to date. With the Franchised Call of Duty league coming with this game it should be one of the best Call of Duty games yest.
I’m looking forward to hear more good news about Pokémon sword. I have been a fun of Pokémon and zelda since I was 9 years old. Those are my best games. Nintendo does rock. All hail Pokémon
I am most excited for Iron Man VR!
The gaming announcement that has me most excited for this year’s 2019 has definitely got to be what’s going to be presented at the Xbox press conference. I’m interested to see what Microsoft’s response will be to the news of the new Playstation that came out a little while earlier, especially with regards to the projected price of the unit. If it’s anywhere in the speculated price range of the new Sony console, that’ll be a huge bummer. I’m also excited to see whatever The Coalition has prepared for E3 with respect to Gears of War 5. Gears of War is what got me back into gaming, so that series is very near and dear to me.
I am most anticipating Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Infinity Ward and Activision look poised to return Call of Duty to its celebrated heyday with a more realistic modern military environment and away from the futuristic nonsense we have been seeing of late. From the launch clips and data so far this game has the potential to really give Call of Duty: Modern Warfare the chance to be one of the last monster releases for the PlayStation 4.
I’m most hyped for Ubisoft’s Assassins Creed because it’s based on Vikings, so i feel like it will be very similar to black flag. Which was my favourite game in the series. Also excited about Xbox’s new console.
I’m extremely excited to see the new Avengers game by Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal, and Marvel Games! It’s important to me because I’ve loved superheroes my entire life and to get a new superhero team game in the current gen consoles is really promising. The last superhero team game I loved was Ultimate Alliance and that was a long time ago, so I’m hoping this will be much better than that!
I’m excited for Microsoft to make an announcement for a new Xbox console. My boyfriend and his kids are excited too! Definitely an Xbox household
I am most excited for the pc games this year, mostly Cyberpunk 2077 and Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, two very different games yet both have such big potential, I may not have a pc to run them, but the hype it’s self and how good they look is exciting enough for my enjoyment.
The PS5, with everything I’ve seen so far on it, it looks amazing. I’m excited for it because what it’ll actual look like once released and @Playstation is pretty decent with all of their stuff! I know deep down it will be amazing! <3

I like that Sony is going to launch PS5 as it will be incredibly powerful backward compatibility will let you play online with PS4 players. They are going to use advanced lighting technique that’s used in big budget Hollywood movies. The PS5 has 8k graphics that is cool too it still Xbox Anaconda will be more powerful than the PS5
I am most excited to find out more about Game Freak’s Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield for the Nintendo Switch. I really enjoyed the Detective Pikachu movie and have been wishing for a console based Pokémon RPG like this since I was playing Pokémon Red on my Game Boy Colour. I am buzzing to hear a release date and learn more about the new generation of Pokémon and the Galar region.
I am quite excited to hear about Microsoft’s new 1st party games.

Very interested in hearing more about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) developed by Infinity Ward with Activision publishing. Removing the season pass is an interesting move but I’m most interested in their plans to introduce cross play between console and pc – particularly if they have anything to say regarding the advantages that may exist for players on keyboard/mouse vs controller. I’m really interested in this as it’s an amazing way to keep the player base up so long as they can provide a level playing field based on skill rather than equipment.

I am most looking forward to the next game announced by Rocksteady Games. It’s been a few years since the last Arkham game, so I think we can expect an announcement soon. Additionally, more Cyberpunk reveals would be awesome.
I’m excited to see more details about Links Awakening for the Switch. The original Zelda games were formative gaming experiences for me, and Links Awakening on Game Boy was a creative and unique spin on the Zelda formula. looking forward to see what they are adding to it. plus the animated cutscenes look very cool.
I’m looking forward to any announcement regarding the next Gen of Consoles, specially Sony’s. Also I’d like to see if they talk about the upcoming collaboration between Sony and Microsoft in terms of streaming games to compete with other tech giants trying to get a share the gaming market
I’m personally most excited to hear about Nintendo’s upcoming games that they’ve been teasing in the past, specifically Luigi’s Mansion 3 and (hopefully) some updates on how development of Metroid Prime 4 is going!
I am very excited to see more information about what the new Xbox console will be, because Microsoft has done so much over the last few years to improve the Xbox experience!

Im excited thats deaths stranding FINALLY has a release date
The game I’m most excited to hear about it the upcoming Pokémon Sword / Pokémon Shield, released by Nintendo. Game Freak, and the Pokémon Company.
From the time it’s been rumoured, which seems like forever, we’re finally getting a true, original-like Pokémon console game (sorry Go Pikachu / Go Eevee… it’s just not the same). Now we can get the full Pokémon experience both at home and on the go with Shield and Sword. This is huge for the franchise, as it should now give access to even more fans of the franchise to play the game, but also makes it even more accessible to new fans; in my case, I’m definitely introducing this to my kids, along with my nieces and nephews, as soon as possible!
Growing up with the original Red / Blue, and working my way through all the games, even as an adult, it’s just great franchise overall. It’s also a great way to introduce kids to gaming and RPGs in something that’s like, got a great story, feels familiar and yet, is always innovating and bringing something new and exciting to the table.
Super excited to see what more details will be revealed in the coming weeks, as I’ve anxiously been waiting for more info since the first official announcement done in February this year. Hopefully we can get an official release date at E3 too!

The most exciting manufacturer I am following is CD Projekt Red. I know that their game Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be announced during E3 in 2019 but I am excited as they might provide some new info about it or release some other games. Also, I am looking after Sony and their announcement for Play Station 5 that could be released this year!
I am extremely excited for the (Ubisoft) Assasin’s Creed Symphony tour. They are coming to Toronto and I would love to go see them. I have been playing Assasin’s Creed since high school and I have collected figurines, soundtracks, and a lot of other exclusive objects from special editions packs. I have been Mrs. Ezio Auditore da Firenze for halloween and feel so apart of these games. This announcement means a lot to me because it would be such an amazing experience to hear the soundtracks that have made the game be as special as it is.
I’m excited to check out the upcoming ps4 titles. Specifically the avengers game which is being produced by square Enix. It would be awesome to play as the characters of the marvel universe.
Curious to learn more about the Microsoft Xbox announcement and wonder if they have any future plans surrounding 5G.
I’m most excited by the potential of the new Star Wars video game, Star Wars: Jedi – Fallen Order, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by EA.
It’s been a long time since a story-driven single-player Star Wars game has been released, and the timeframe covered by it (the apparent extinction of the Jedi) is really intriguing! With EA’s typical polish and Respawn’s satisfying gameplay, the game was good pedigree and enormous potential to me!
I’m excited about the new Xbox from Microsoft. want to preview that new halo and see what that has done. The marvel related games and avengers game by Crystal Dynamics 🙂
I’m most excited for Death Stranding by Kojima Productions. Their latest trailer this week has to be the most impressive looking game I’ve ever seen as Kojima and his team have pushed the Decima engine past what even Horizon Zero Dawn looked like. After the long wait, I can’t believe I’ll be playing this on my PS4 this November!
We are really excited for the Nintendo announcement! My children are just starting to talk about gaming and they have already naturally been interested in the Mario Bro games! An the portability of the Switch is very appealing to the entire family!

Really hoping for a new Splinter Cell game. I have very fond memories of the original trilogy on the XBOX. Specifically Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. These were true stealth games that sadly today, is lacking in the current gaming landscape. But I love this series so much, even the recent games were enjoyable. But for the love of god, please bring back Ironside as the voice actor for Sam Fisher.

Pokemon Sword&Shield from Nintendo and The Pokemon Company! So excited to go on a console based pokemon adventure with my brother and friends. Can’t wait to see the new Pokemon and catch ’em all. I’ve been a fan for 20 years of the series so a new mainline game is going to be wonderful.
Gta 6 and playstation 5 rumours, cause the last time I played a GTA game was on a 360. Would love to see how they expand the game further than what they already have offered.
I am excited to learn about the release date of Naughty Dogs “The Last of Us: Part 2” for Sony Playstation 4. Its a continuation to one of my favourite games of all time. I completed it multiple times and will call in sick at work when the new one comes out 🙂

I am looking forward to an announcement on the new Metroid game from Nintendo and Retro Studios. I know the development of the game was restarted but I hope they show us at least some concept art. This game when it releases will be huge and I am very excited to play it.
