Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. With the rapidly changing gaming landscape thanks to new streaming options you may have recently changed where and when you play games.

I’m most excited about the rumours for the next generation of consoles to be released by Microsoft. It will be exciting to see how they push technology further and what it means for console gaming future.
Looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red. I spent a lot of time playing Witcher 3, and have a lot of trust in the studio to continue creating phenomenal games.

The remake of FFVII. Epic game!
I am most excited for the avengers project by Square Enix because I’m a huge fan of marvel movies and believe that it will turn out to be a good game.
I’m excited to see the new Xbox consoles from Microsoft.
I’m excited for Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch. The Mario games have always been great, but being able to make your own levels, and play the levels that other people have played, is so much fun!
Best Buy, I am most excited for Death Stranding which was announced by Sony. The story although a mystery to me seems very promising with a great cast of actors playing roles in what seems like the game of year!
After the lukewarm reception to prior Star Wars titles, I am excited to see the trailer for Respawn developed/Ea published Fallen Order title, as respawn is a talented studio and they have what it takes to make a great game.
Pokemon Sword & Shield from Nintendo for the Switch is the title I’m most excited about! Pokemon has been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl and I always look forward to getting the newest game. They never disappoint that’s for sure! I’m pretty excited to pre-order and start playing this one. I just gotta figure out which one I want.
The announcement that got me the most hyped this year is Codemasters are coming out with a new GRID game. I’m amped because GRID was mine and my friends favorite racing game so a new one for the ps4 should be hectic! Now I have a reason to get a PlayStation VR kit.
I’m really hoping for more news on The Last of Us 2! I have played through the first game several times and made some amazing friends playing the multiplayer or it online. I just love the world that Naughty Dog made when they created The Last of Us, and I’m so excited to see those characters again in the second instalment.
I’m most excited for FIFA 20. I’ve been with this franchise since the 90’s.
I’m most excited about the Pokémon Sword and Shield for the Switch! It’s been a long time coming. I’ve been playing Pokémon games for what feels like my whole life. I’m excited to see what is new in this Pokémon region.

Most excited or intrigued by Death Stranding on PS4 by Kojima Productions. It just seems like it might be a game that’s a bit different with an interesting story, good gameplay.
I’m most excited to see new gameplay for Fire Emblem: Three Houses for Nintendo Switch. I love the entire series and this one looks really good. I even have the Seasons of Warfare edition preordered from BestBuy.ca!
Beyond Good and Evil 2 from Ubisoft would have to be the game I’m most excited about. The original was such a great game. I think that we’ve waited so long for this game is why I’m most excited about it.
I am most excited for borderlands 3 from gearbox. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two games and just can’t wait for the third one. The art style and rpg elements of borderlands make it my favourite Fpsrpg.
I’m most excited to see playable gameplay from Ubisoft’s Beyond Good and Evil 2 for the Playstation 4. I really loved the first game and am excited to see the sequel.

We were most excited about the game Kingdom Hearts by Square Enix. I played it with my kids and now it is wonderful to watch my daughter play it with her children.
Nintendo’s announcement of Labo VR for the Switch has been the biggest news for me this year. I’ve looked at the Labo sets before and while I could see the potential creativity in them, I was still not sure if I would be able to put enough time in to make the purchase worthwhile. The newest set (Nintendo Labo VR Kit) which transforms the Swtich into a basic VR system, with support for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild AND now Smash Bros. Ultimate too, changed my mind completely. Not only is there the regular Labo Garage where you can tinker with your own creations, but that has been expanded to the VR equivalent as well. After I get the set from BestBuy, I plan on spending the summer tinkering with my own ideas for minigames and carboard creations. I also hope that further updates for previous games will feature at E3 this year.
The gaming announcement I’m most excited for in 2019 is Wolfenstein: Youngblood a game to be released for PC, XBox, PS4 and the Switch announced by their publisher Bethesda Softworks. Being a little bit older of a gamer it reminds me of staying up late after school with my best friend playing Wolfenstein on the PS2. Unfortunately never got any of the ones released after that but definitely excited about this one now that I’m older. Reminds me of the good old days where money, work, and everything else wasn’t such a high priority. Just something to bring back childhood memories.
I’m excited to see more from the Final Fantasy 7 remake. Hopefully we’ll see some of Tifa, Cait, Red, Yuffie, Vincent, or Cid
Death Stranding from Kojima Productions/Sony. It looks phenomenal and the story looks very intriguing. And most importantly, this is Kojima’s first game after leaving Konami, so I’m very hyped for his comeback!
Definitely most excited to see what CD Project Red has to show off with Cyberpunk 2077. Since watching the first teaser I got hooked in enough to try out the witcher series and they make great games.

I’m most excited for Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch. All my life I’ve been a Mario fan, so I’m always looking forward for anything Mario!
I am personally most excited for the new FIFA 20 game that is going to be announced at E3 2019. I myself play soccer, and have been playing FIFA games for a long time. I cannot wait to see what EA are going to announce towards this game. More career mode features? A new campaign based feature like The Journey? Better gameplay features? I want to know know, and I am very curious and excited to see what EA have planned for us.

Animal Crossing on the Switch! It’s been too long Nintendo since we got a good proper Animal Crossing, my body is ready.
Super excited to hear more about Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake for Sony PlayStation 4. The original game was easily one of my favourite games growing up as a kid, and now almost 20 years later I can’t wait to pick up the remake and take a trip down memory lane!
My sons and myself are looking forward to see gameplay of CoD:MW by Infinity Ward (Activision)
We’ve been playing CoD since The first release…well at least I have been! :p
No zombies this time but that’s ok since we’re really going back to the roots of CoD with this new release! Can’t wait to get our hands on it!
