Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. My kids (12 and 15) – and ME – we are all anxiously awaiting the arrival later this year of Borderlands 3 from Gearbox Software and 2K Games for Xbox.
As a parent I played #1 and #2 while raising my boys. Was a great way to relax. My boys got into them as well and now we all enjoy it together.
Number 3 is definitely on our “watch list”.
I think I am most excited about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn that is supposed to be about a young padawan fleeing the Emperor and going to remaining Jedi for guidance.
I am excited about halo and that it might come out for pc and all the new consoles.
I am definitely looking forward to the Marvel’s The Avengers game by Square Enix release!!!

I can’t wait to see more borderlands 3 from gearbox I’ve played them all with my son and we both love this series!
I was most excited about the game being release: Kingdom Hearts III for PS4. This was announced by Sony with a teaser and was developed and published by Square Enix the games manufacturers and to be released in January 2019. This game is so important because it was the first game that my husband and I played together when we first dated on PlayStation! I love how it’s an action role-playing game that incorporates Disney and Pixar characters, two favourites in one game!

Definitely most excited for Nintendo to announce Animal Crossing for the Switch and more on Pokemon.. there’s nothing better than playing your favorite childhood games as an adult

I am most excited to see what Nintendo has in store at E3. I have yet to buy an Nintendo switch, and I am interested in seeing if they are releasing an upgraded version.
Any news about Square Enix’s Marvel’s The Avengers has me most excited for E3 this year. I always loved playing the old X-Men and Marvel Ultimate Alliance games and I’m hoping this new game is an exciting twist on the formula of those older games.
I am extremely excited for the Borderlands 3 announcement! Gearbox Software will be releasing more information on the game that so many people have been waiting for, and I already have such high expectations! Getting to experience more to the story of Borderlands makes 2019 an amazing year as nothing can beat the immersive world that Gearbox Software has created in my eyes.
It’s all about the hardware!!!
I’m most looking forward to the upcoming Nintendo Switch releases for Square Enix’s Dragon Quest Builders 2, and Game Freak/Pokémon Company’s Pokémon Sword & Shield.
These upcoming games are important to me because me and my significant other live pretty far away from each other and they’re another way we can spend time together. I visited her a few months ago for the first time in a couple of years, and I bought her a Nintendo Switch for her birthday while there (She loved playing mine when she came to visit me). I’ve been trying to figure out what online co-op games would be best for the both of us to play together. Catching new Pokémon to trade with each other in Sword & Shield, as well as building things and fighting baddies together in DQB2 both seem like they’ll be a lot of fun for the both of us.
Other than that, I’m curious to see what’s unveiled at E3. The rumours of Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo working together more closely in the future, the rumblings of a Nintendo Switch revision, the SNES Online rumours from a few months ago, and seeing what Sony has up their sleeve as well as they’ve had some really fantastic exclusive games come to the PS4 in recent years.
Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red is what Im most excited for, I’ve been waiting for a game like it since I saw the blade runner movies and Altered Carbon show on Netflix. I’ve got high hopes for this game’s gamplay, graphics and specially the story telling. I hope they also announce ray tracing support for this game, it would be sick
The game I’m most excited to see is The Last of Us 2 by Sony for PlayStation 4 because it is the sequel to one of my favorite games.

I’m exsided for ghost recon brackpoint by ubisoft because you get to fight another ghost that will also be hunting u down at the same time your surviving/ hunting them down it take a spin on to the franchise that looks incredible
My biggest surprise from e3 was when Sony and square enix announced the final fantasy 7 remake was being released. I beat the original as a kid and the amount of nostalgia, shock, and excitement that went through my body when I saw the announcement was unprecedented. The recent trailer Sony showed during their days of play got me even more pumped. Fingets crossed it comes out this year
I want to hear about the ps5. Can’t wait to see the specs for it.
So far it had 100% been the Borderlands 3 reveal and gameplay session. 2k and Gearbox know how to keep the formula just right and the reveal had me dusting off Borderlands 2 to get my fix! The event was also super well done (aside from Randy Pitchford’s post reveal Twitter explosion but hey you can’t win em all). Can’t wait to see how beautiful it is on my Xbox one x and Sony 4k panel (both from best buy)!
For the love of God the Final Fantasy VII Remake better be coming out this year 🙁 I’ve been excited about this for years.
I am really excited to hear rockstar’s announcement for bully 2 and hopefully gta 6 and also Sony’s ps5 launch hopefully all will be told at e3
The new avengers game to be announced in June has be very excited, I expect great graphics and visuals from this game. Looking forward for the launch.
Really looking forward to World of Warcraft Classic, by Blizzard Entertainment. This is exciting to me because I will get to relive the experience of the original game along-side with some childhood friends. This will truly be a unique experience in gaming!
I am most excited about Sony announcing an SSD is being put in the PS5. It’s going to be such an improvement, much more important to me than even graphics.

I’m most excited about Dying Light 2 from Techland! I’ve been in love with the Dying Light world since the first game came out and I cannot wait to see what they do with the next one!
I’d honestly have to say, I’m hyped about Halo Infinity. I’ve enjoyed every Halo game I’ve played, and I bet that Halo Infinity will be no different.
I am excited for Gears 5 from Microsoft Studios. My friend and I still play Gears of War 4, despite it being 2-3 years old now. It would be amazing if the previously announced Gears 5 gets a release date for this year!

Marvel Avengers game from square Enix. They can make fabulous games, i want to see what they can do with that property. Also love it is single player/co-op instead of being multiplayer driven.

I was excited about the announcement of Super Mario Maker 2 by Nintendo. I was hoping to see some new aspects of Super Mario Maker, as I’m a big fan of Super Mario in general.

Borderlands 3 from 2K Games and Gearbox Software.
I’ve been a Borderlands fan since Day 1. Played 1 and 2 multiple times and the Pre Sequel.
I’ve been hyped for Borderlands 3 and I’m so excited that it’s coming out in September.
Really excited to see the latest and greatest! So many good titles on the horizon for each platform. I play across all systems so really looking forward to E3!!
I think I am most excited about the Marvel Avengers game by Square Enix. My whole family loves Marvel and my husband and kids love to game. I’m most intrigued by the 4 player cooperative mode that is rumoured, because my family always wants to play together (and wants me to play too), but most games now would need four playstation consoles for all of us to play separately, together, online. Thanks for this great contest Best Buy, our gaming gear definitely needs a refresh!

The 2019 gaming announcement that has me most excited at the moment is Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This is because it showcases my favourite aspects of any video game: Stealth action gameplay, intense online multiplayer and it’s heavily built around teamwork. I think Breakpoint is the complete package. It places you in a large open world that’s perfect to explore and create your own plan for completing missions. And what better company to create that environment for gamers then Canada’s own game studio Ubisoft. They have plenty of experience from making games such as Assassins Creed, Rainbow Six and my favourite the Splinter Cell series.
I’m very excited about this announcement because Ubisoft continues to put Canada on the map every time they release major games like Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. I can only imagine how good it will look on Xbox One X in stunning 4K and I’m sure E3 will bring us more news.
Every year I eagerly await any info about a new Ton Clancy’s Splinter Cell game being developed. It was the first game series that demanded my attention. It also brought me into the online gaming world of Xbox Live on the original Xbox and is the reason I have been passionate about gaming all these years. So many great memories and they all tie right back to Xbox, Ubisoft, and Tom Clancy. This is why I chose Ghost Recon Breakpoint and why I’m looking forward to E3 this year.
