Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. Currently I’m most excited for Bandai Namco’s Tales of Arise that they showed during Microsoft’s conference! The world was colourful, the gameplay looks fun, and it’s a part of the Tales of series that I already am a fan of XD

Star Wars Jedi fallen order for sure. The reason? The last big non FPS Star Wars game was cancelled and this game looks amazing from the little bit I’ve seen. And I want to see more so I can decide if I preorder or not

Borderlands 3, announced by Gearbox Software and 2K, has me the most excited out of all the announcements thus far in 2019.
The Borderlands series have always delivered an engaging, in-depth experience on every playthrough and have and exceptional amount of replay value. The addition of another title provides hundreds more hours of entertainment, and I’d be hard pressed to find another release this year that would capture my attention the same way for such a length of time. The retention of couch co-op is a key draw for me and those I play with, as all the games in the series have provided excellent side-by-side game sessions and bonding time. As well, seeing Gearbox return to this franchise is also a welcome sign, as their recent titles haven’t captivated me in the way the Borderlands series has.
From the details of the announcement and what sparse looks at the game we’ve had, Borderlands 3 is certainly the title I’m most excited to be released this year! Can’t wait!

Pokemon sword and shield
Can’t wait for CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. I played the Witcher 3 by CDPR as well and loved it. I’m sure Cyberpunk will be just as good, or even better.
Most excited for finding more about Luigi’s Mansion 3 from Nintendo. Our youngest learned about Luigi’s Mansion from a friend and has been drawing “Luigi’s Manson” pictures at school, but has never played one of the games as he’s much too young to have had a GameCube for the original.
Like many, I’m super pumped for Nintendo’s November release of Pokemon Sword & Shield. Let’s Go Eevee & Pikachu gave us just a small taste of what a Pokemon game could achieve on the Switch hardware; I’m expecting serious innovation, immersiveness and challenge with Sword & Shield!
Just saw the trailer for Tales of Arise from Bandai Namco. This will be the big one for me. Love the Tales series from all the way back to SNES and I’m sure this will carry on the tradition of great RPG’s.

I am most excited about Final Fantasy VII Remake by Square Enix. I grew up playing the Final Fantasy series and the original Final Fantasy VII on PS1 holds a special place in my heart. I hope to see more news and announcements on it soon!
My son says he is most looking forward to the “Minecraft: Dungeons” game coming out in spring 2020. Mojang has started playing promo videos for it and he said it looks fun and he loves Minecraft so he is hoping he’ll like it too.
Excited about Borderlands 3 by Gearbox Software. Loved the other 2, and I find it was one of the few good split screen games of it’s time. One of my favorite series.
Xbox and Sega bringing Phantasy Star Online 2 to the Xbox in English is something I never thought I’d see. Can’t wait.
PlayStation 5 is What I’ve been looking at for a long time and yes I do have a PlayStation 4 but it overheats a lot and makes it less fun to play so I’ve been playing on my little 7 year old laptop (I think its 7 years old) and Its important to me because I am a PlayStation fan so I hope when it comes out I can get my hands on it. I love the game Octopath Traveller announcement from Square Enix. One of my childhood favorite games before was Saga Frontier 1 and 2. Gustave XIII and his steel blade was so cool! Octopath Traveller produces same ambiance feel.

What excited me the most this year has to be the announcement of Pokemon Sword and Shield by Game freak Nintendo! My first ever pokemon game was Pokemon Blue and I have been playing since then. Now with the power of the switch we will be having better graphics, a open world section where pokemon will appear in the wild, big cities to visit in the game, and much more. i cannot wait to start my adventure in the Galar region!
I am surprised to see only one Pokemon: Sword and Shield comment on here. Not only am I looking forward to playing Pokemon on console finally, but also can’t wait to see the new Switch. I am hoping for the release of Pokemon, it will come with the Nintendo Switch 2.0 (Pokemon Edition).
I am most excited for “Tales of Arise” from Bandai Namco. I am a long fan of the Tales series, have all of the CE’s and will definetely be looking forward to seeing what this CE will entail. And obviously will be playing it on the PS4 Pro Haha.
The announcement I think looks like it will be a blast is the game Control, by Remedy Entertainment. This is a game that will be on PC, PS4 and Xbox one.
The game play looks great and brings fantasy that would be amazing to be in. If you haven’t seen the gameplay go check it out and you will fall in love with an amazing game.
This announcement is great because they have made other wonderful games I enjoyed like Max Payne.

I’m definitely most excited about new info on PS4’s The Last of Us Part 2 from Naughty Dog. The Last of Us remains the best PlayStation game regardless of generation, of all time and I can’t wait to experience the post-apocalyptic world again. I have full confidence in Naughty Dog that they’ll pull off another master piece!
Excited about Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening. They did an amazing job with Breath of the Wild, and I’m curious to see what they do next with the Zelda franchise. All of the Zelda games are a hit with my family.

I am most excited about Cyberpunk 2077 announcement. The release date was announced by CD Projekt. Its a really innovative and fun looking game that we haven’t seen something like it before. It is important to me because I’ve been watching this game so closely and can’t wait to get my hands on it, so finally excited to know when that will be possible!

First game was amazing! Trailers looked good for the next one so far
looking forward to more gameplay and potential release date for Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projekt Red> I wasn’t a big fan of the Witcher series, but I am pretty excited for their new game, so far all the gameplay trailer looks amazing. Both graphic and gameplay looks miles ahead of everyone else (except maybe death stranding)
