Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I’m really hoping that “Someday You’ll Return” from CBE Software will be released in 2019 for PS4 as stated in various announcements. I am a huge fan of the Silent Hill series and survival horror games that make you think (not just reward button mashing ;D ). This game looks like it will meet all of my personal preferences in a video game!
I’m most excited about a console game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, announced by EA. I guess it’s coming to PC also, but I’m strictly a console gamer. I love a single-player RPG and I really wish ‘they’ would re-release Knights of the Old Republic (1 and 2) for the current generation of consoles. And a weak port of the mobile game does not count (looking at you, GTA: San Andreas).
I cannot decided what I am more excited about between Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Super Mario Maker 2!
Excited to see what Nintendo is going reveal about Pokemon Sword and Shield! Hopefully we’ll see the starter evolutions and maybe the official release date!
Looking forward to the game Dead Stranding coming out from Kojima productions this November ! Been waiting for this game for a while now and from all the trailers ive seen it looks like it’s going to be an awesome game !
I’m really excited for the new Star Wars Jedi: fallen order being released by PlayStation for the ps4. I’m a huge star was fan and it looks like they put so much into making this game awesome for the player. I am recently getting back into video games since I tore the tendon in my thumb and funny enough my doctor told me video games would be great for physio! Looking forward to (HOPEFULLY) FromSoft’s next game reveal in collab with GRRM. Maybe also some HZD 2, GOW 5 (most likely too early for this) info as well as more Death Stranding gameplays.
I am the most excited for the Link’s Awakening remake and Fire Emblem Three Houses from Nintendo. LoZ and Fire Emblem have been my two favourite series and the reason I will always own the current Nintendo consoles.

I am very excited to hear Nintendo’s announcement for Pokemon Sword & Shield for the Nintendo Switch. I have been a major fan of the game series since 1999, and I look forward to this game’s experience for the first time on this console. I absolutely love Nintendo’s enthusiasm and innovation in taking their game play to the next level and their attention to detail about not just game content but experience while playing their games. Bring on E3 2019!

This E3 I’m most excited about the remake of Final Fantasy 7. Seeing one of my favourite games be recreated with stellar graphics is just so incredibly fantastic, it’s like a fantasy lol.

I was excited about Kingdom Hearts 3 for PS4 but that has passed, did want more gameplay than watching the confusing story develop. Mortal Kombat 11 (PS4 for me) is so far really exciting in all aspects and since I bought the premium, I look forward to the released characters I get. Rumors of Final Fantasy 7 remake keep being postponed but if it comes out at the end of this year then that would be the best news for me!
Animal crossing for Nintendo switch! Still have yet to come out but excited to see how it will be
This is the most exciting time to be a gamer…it’s basically like Christmas! I’m so excited for a variety of stuff this year, but if I had to choose one, it has to be more information on CD Project Red’s ambitious game Cyberpunk 2077. What they accomplished with the Witcher 3 is pure genius, and I can’t wait to see how they push the limits in gameplay, graphics and storytelling.
Super Mario Maker 2 is exciting enough to make me buy a Switch! The look on my son’s eyes when he saw the demo of the maker tools in Best Buy was priceless. <3

What I’m most excited for is borderlands 3 which gearbox announced I moved away from a lot of my friends and growing up we all gamed together now as older guys with careers and family’s it’s hard to stay in touch but now we are all going to play borderlands together just like when we were kids sitting around a tv eating snacks

I am excited for CD Projekt’s Cyberpunk 2077 announcement. I jumped on the studio’s offerings late as I wasn’t much into RPG’s but the industry’s deviation from single player, narrative driven games has forced me to look into other genres. I am a big fan of the 70s / 80s Sci-Fi aesthetic and from the Witcher series I know this studio has a talent for story telling, world building and making an environment that feels lived in, which is important to me.
