Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. I am looking forward to Nintendo’s remake of The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening on the Nintendo Switch. That being said, I still don’t own a Switch, which is why I am hoping to win a Nintendo Prize Pack #2. I’m never home so I would love the option to game on the go.
If Nintendo unveils any more news about a brand new Legend of Zelda game during E3, that would be amazing!
I’m excited to learn more about and play Cyberpunk 2077. I’m looking forward to playing the sci-fri rpg! From the same developers who gave us the Witcher, its sure to be a cracker!
I have waited so long to own a PS – the idea of PS 5 coming out soon makes me want to jump around! I could play COD (most wanted to play for so long), and check out the sports that is coming too……….omg……….I can’t wait.
Actually excited by the next call of duty , for the simple reason they will put crossplay !
The gaming announcement that has me most excited is the release of the PlayStation 5 console, whenever it actually comes! Sony has made various tidbit comments, and many industry insiders and sites have made specific and non-specific leaks as to possible and/or confirmed features, such as 8K TV compatibility, backwards game compatibility, etc. What interests me most though is the 4K/8K capability, and whether or not that extends to disc based playback (as it doesn’t really in the current PS4/PS4Pro consoles). I love my kids being able to play their games (and me sneaking one in there from time to time)… but I’d really like to be able to play full 4K HDR blu-rays without having a separate component under my counter. Will see, can’t wait.
I’m really looking forward to the new Halo Infinite from 343 Industries. I started playing video games on halo so it’s an original game for me. Ive enjoyed playing all the older ones including the online in guardians.
Gimme that Pokemon sleep so I can’t get sleep XP !
Super excited for Pokémon Sword! My boyfriend and I are really into Pokémon, and our dramatic experience when getting the Let’s go Pokémon Pikachu edition of Nintendo Switch makes Pokémon a special memory for both of us. Let’s go Pokémon is definitely a great game, but it has limited number of Pokémon inside, so we are looking forward to play Sword to see more Pokémon!!
I can’t wait to see the Nintendo Treehouse event. I’m looking forward to hearing more news about Pokemon Sword and Shield and maybe even getting a reveal of Animal Crossing.
For this year, the most important announcement to me has been Monster Hunter World : Iceborne by Capcom on the PS4. Monster Hunter has been a part of my life since I was 12, I’ve got so many memories of hunting monsters on the PSP versions of the game with my friends. Now we’ve not only got a full fledged console version but an expansion launching in September with G rank monsters and a whole new environment to explore. Color me excited!
I’m looking forward to the Sony’s PlayStation 5 and to find out if it will be fully backwards compatible with the current PlayStation VR!
I cant wait for animal crossing to come out on the switch, played it as a young lad and now I can play it as a slightly older lad.
hands down the PS5 home gaming console announcement by Sony entertainment has me really excited. i am honestly looking forward to this, as my first console was the PlayStation followed by the PS2, and then the PS3 later on. in short i am probably a mainstay in the Sony entertainment home console scene. honestly cant wait for more news on this.
The Last Of Us part II! Loved the first game and can’t wait for the next one! And maybe bioware dropping hints of a new Dragon Age?
The new Avengers Game by square Enix I’m a huge marvel fan so to see an avengers game is going to be sick.
Just can’t wait for last of us part two to be released. This games left me with so much emotions! Naughty Dog are by far one of the best for storyline. On the other hand, ps5 will probably be the main subject with more games for ps vr. Playstation always the best !
Looking forward all things Gears of war. Gears 5, Gears Pop and Gears tactics . Also looking forward to what Nintendo has in store.
I’m most looking forward to the final fantasy 7 remake, its been talked about for so long and hearing that there will be a playable demo after e3 is super exciting. Being the first game i ever played i have this overwhelming sense of nostagial towards it.
I’m looking forward to Control from Remedy & 505 Games for the Xbox One. It’s the kind of game I love to play. I wouldn’t be sad if Bethesda finally introduced the new Elder Scrolls VI… but I’m not holding my breath for that one!

I can’t wait for E3 to know more about Dying Light 2 by Techland. The first game is one of my favourite game EVER. I love the survival, the zombies and the open world. Knowing that our decisions will affect how the city changes in DL2 makes me so impatient. Can’t wait to know more.

I’m most excited for the Final Fantasy VII Remake by Square Enix. This was the first RPG I finished on my own, as well as the first Final Fantasy gave I ever played. It’s really what started my life-long love affair with RPGs and video games in general.

I play all the Metro developed by the Ukrainian studio 4A Games and edited by Deep Silver. This game gave me a very good impression and I’m so excited to try the next one. The graphics of this game seems incredibly realistic. I would like to win this game and I thank Best Buy for their support and generosity.
I’m most excited for Dying light 2 ,Because my experiences on the first game were amazing.This game is developed by techland, a developer who once worked with deep silver to help make the game dead island.
I have been dying with excitement every since 343 announced that Halo Reach is coming to PC with the MCC with a 4K upgrade. I grew up playing halo 1 and 2 on PC with my younger brother and then bought an Xbox to keep going with the franchise. Now I will be able to go back and play Reach in 4K this thine and relive my childhood only all the other Halo Titles are joining the party as well.
I’m looking forward to the date announcement for when No Man’s Sky VR will be released or if there will be any news on upcoming consoles
I’m looking forward to a new Splinter Cell announcement from Ubisoft since I’ve played and loved every one of those games.
The game Cyberpunk 2077 by CD PROJEKT RED for the PC. As an avid gamer, I have spent over 300 hours playing The Witcher 3 and I am really looking forward to another great RPG from a company that makes great games.
I am totally hyped for the Cyberpunk 2077 game, the previews so far look incredible and feels like the most original RPG to appear in a long time! A fully thought out, detailed, aesthetically forward cyberpunk game feels long overdue and I’m excited for that to exist.
CD Projekt RED, the manufacterer has some serious games under their belt, including The Witcher 3, if it’s anywhere near that level – it’s going to be great!
I’m very excited for what new games will be coming out on the Nintendo Switch, like Animal Crossing. I’d so love to see more from the new Pokemon game. Maybe they’ll also have something up their sleeve too!

It’s a rumors, but i can’t wait to see if its true, FABLE 4 . I love the fable series so much , I love the fact that you can choose to be good or bad and that it chapes the world around you. It’s just an amazing game.
There are so many exciting game releases in 2019! I am really excited about BioMutant by Experiment 101. I love games with an apocalyptic feel and love open world games even more. I believe this will be available for multi-platforms . I don’t have a gaming console at the moment so i’m glad they’ll have a PC option. This will be a great social game I can use to connect with my friends/family online and i’m so so excited! Thanks for this exciting opportunity!
No question it’s the Avengers project by Square Enix. I’ve been waiting years for a proper video game based on the avengers. The fact that Crystal Dynamics and Eidos are involved (All we’re involved in one of my favorite games series of all time Legacy of Kain) gets me even more amped up!

I’m very excited for the first new pokemon series game (Sword and Shield) coming to the Nintendo Switch console that will be released soon. I want to see how much of a free roam world Nintendo has created and spend hours just exploring.

What I am most excited for is the the new Pokemon games Sword and Shield on the Nintendo Switch by Game Freak. What makes me most excited is that we finally get a new generation as the recent years have only brought us remakes. Also with the Pokemon direct coming this Wednesday it brings all the more hype for these games
I’m a huge fan of all sports games since i was like 8-9 years old! Specially the sports game from EA sports (it’s in the game) ! But my favorite sports game is within no doubt NHL! Can’t wait for the next one to be release already!

Cyberpunk 2077 – The cyberpunk world is vast and amazing. I have spent many hours playing RPG’s of Cyperpunk, as well as loving amines and movies set in similar settings.
The manufacturer, CD Projekt S, is a fantastic games maker. Looker at Witcher 3. Cyberpunk is a game which I am more than looking forward to and hoping for great things
Definitely cyberpunk 2077 by cd projekt red, i’m a fan of cyberpunk genre, i’ve been waiting for over a year for it to come out.
I’m most excited for Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order by Respawn Entertainment and EA. Games like Titanfall 1&2 and Apex being made by Respawn gives me a major moral boost that this upcoming game will be amazing. For years EA has made there games into pay to play and Respawn blew that notion out of the water when Apex was released and that company looks invested in the experience of the gamer rather than the money they could receive. I love Star Wars but recently have been let down through cinematic and games, but this game gives me hope. I can’t wait for this game to come out.
