Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I’m looking forward to Death Stranding, by Kojima Productions for Sony Playstation 4.
I really enjoyed Kojima’s previous game, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I feel that he is one of the few creators really pushing the boundaries of story telling in the medium. There are certainly a few misses in his approach, but he always swings for the fences, and whatever he makes is worth seeing.
Super excited for gearbox to announce more about borderlands 3! Historically, borderlands is one of the only games my husband and I play together because it combines his fave (shooter) with mine (RPG). Also – the music is always incredible. Can’t wait to find out more!!
Looking forward to Final Fantasy VII Remake!!

FIFA 19. Because I like soccer
Looking forward to seeing if Bungie release anything on Destiny 3 to be honest. Probably not, but a man can hope. We’re probably at least 1.5 years from release if not longer now that Bungie are out from under Activision and need more time. It’s been 5 years of playing this series for thousands of hours and it still feels like the best shooter out here. Can’t wait for the next installment and where the story goes!
I’m very excited for the new luigi’s mansion game coming out on the switch and because I have played all the other ones and have enjoyed them all so hoping this next one can live up to the name of the other two that be great!!
I’m most looking forward to hearing information on the new game “Cyberpunk 2077” from CD Projekt. Aside from the few tidbits we’ve seen from fans and the creators this looks to be another amazing game from the creators of Witcher 3, and I can’t wait for it’s release to spend countless hours exploring Night City.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for the XBOX One X console is the game that has me most excited. There hasn’t been a good Star Wars story-based game for a while and it is a thrilling prospect from developer Respawn Entertainment .
I want to hear about Xbox 2 – c’mon Microsoft! …and I want to see if Bethesda can redeem itself with the Fallout series and make me a believer again.
Death stranding, by far one of the coolest games this year
The announcement that most excited me was the new Call Of Duty MW developed by Infinity Ward because I am a follower of the saga and this promises a new motor technology in graphics and we all know that MW is the best saga! I would greatly appreciate being the winner of any of the prizes and thanks to BestBy for giving us the best promotions to the gamer!

Hello Best Buy! I love getting immersed into a beautiful role playing game it is my absolutely favourite hobby .I always wait patiently for E3 to see all the amazing games of the year. If I were to pick,I’m incredibly excited for Bethesda’s announcements, ESPECIALLY The Elder Scrolls VI. I’ve never played a series as religiously as Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Oblivion and of course Skyrim. This announcement is very important to be because this is the game that helps me relax and unwind after a hard days work 🙂
I’m most looking forward to hearing more about Nintendo’s Pokémon Sword and Shield. But anything from Nintendo is exciting – a new Zelda game would be kick ass!

Looking forward to Pokemon Sword and Shield as I have been a long time fan of the game series and I always get excited for the new additions to the Pokémon roster, new region and any new adds like z-crystals and mega evolutions. It also is gunna be on the switch which sounds awesome and hope to play mine more.
I am looking forward to seeing what Microsoft will say for next gen, and am hoping that they throw down the gauntlet and announce a spring 2020 launch to pull in ahead of Sony.
I’m most interested in seeing the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare from Activision because it was my favourite game when I was growing up and I had so much fun playing both the campaign and the multiplayer. I’m excited to see what they’ll be able to do with the new gen consoles and hope they can reboot the franchise into call of duty again.

Hoping to see some reviewing and updates on the New Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and New COD Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare got me hooked on COD games, and I have enjoyed all the Ghost Recon games. Especially Wildlands!

I’m looking forward to The Last of Us Part II so I can finally buy an PS4
While it may not technically launch in 2019, all of the news this year surrounding the PS 5 has been really exciting to read about. I would love to continue to see VR playing a big role in the new consoles; there is just so much potential there. It’s been also pretty interesting to read about all of the new cloud based gaming. The Google Stadia has the potential to shake things up a bit; albeit it’s an incredibly tough market. Cloud based gaming isn’t going away.
Exciting times ahead.
I must say, I’m most definitely looking forward to Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. I’ve played countless Zelda games ever since I was a kid, and now I get to share them with kids of my own!
I’m most excited for call of duty modern warfare by activision
I am very excited for Death Stranding from Kojima Productions, on the PS4. The visuals look amazing, and the storyline looks intriguing. Very cool to have the actors they have. I think the combination will have people committed to this game.
I’m am most excited for the announcement for apex legends at E3 because they haven’t done much and they release just a few things they are going to do in season 2 and it sounds great

I’m most excited about the next generation console coming from Xbox, I’ve been a big fan of Xbox since they showed such a strong console in the 360 elite. I still have the one my father in law bought for me back in 2008 and plan to keep going back for each console.
I’m looking forward to the Final Fantasy VII remake by Square Enix! I am looking forward to playing it in HD

While I don’t think it’s confirmed to be talked about at E3, the thing I’m looking forward to the most is hearing more about Animal Crossing for the Nintendo switch.
Animal Crossing is such a great game. It’s simple and fun yet there is always something to do. New Leaf added a great new feature which is being the mayor of the town to fully customize it.
Animal Crossing is just close my heart in general too. I love all the animals and the personalities, although I do miss the days they would sass you back on the game cube. Even still, they keep making great improvements and add little story details, even without having a major story in animal crossing.
Even if it doesn’t get talked about at E3, Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Switch is the game I’m most hyped about. I just can’t wait to see what they add and how they can make the series even better. Plus, they add new animal friends every once in a while and I always get really excited to see them.

I’m most excited for the Avengers Game by Square Enix. Not much has been said about this game and I want to know more about what kind of game it’ll be, an action game? Play as an Avenger? All new story or something from the comics/movies? What characters are in it?
Also excited for the conferences from Xbox and Square Enix and a few of the others. Will this be where the beginning of the next gen console announcements start? I can’t wait, I’m so excited!!
