Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

  1. With all the great new Sony features, I have to say what appeals to me the most is the ultra-slim bezel, so the entire focus is on the image not the frame. It’s so important to me how a tv looks in a room, even when it’s not on. So, although these tvs have so many great high tech features for colour and sound, this simple feature is what appeals to me the most! A Sony tv I really like is the Sony 55″ 4K UHD LED Android Smart Tv (XBR55X950H).

    The features I love on the LG NanoCell TV is better colour; more vibrant hues with better and more natural gradation. I also love the sharper overall image thanks to 33 million pixels, and more accurate depth and contrast, meaning that even in very dark scenes, I will be able to see fine detail. Right now we lose the picture in those dark scenes

    A) The feature that is most appealing to me in the new 2020 LG premium televisions is the expanded NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility. I love gaming. I game on both console and PC. I’ve seen just how smooth gameplay can be with NVIDIA G-SYNC. To have a television that is G-SYNC compatible is unbelievable!

    B) My favourite LG television currently available at Best Buy Canada would have to be the LG NanoCell 65″ 8K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (65NANO99UNA). Just the right size and future-proof with 8K.

    I trust their technology and quality.
    You can use direct Wi-Fi to transfer from small screen ( like cell phone or tablet ) to your big screen TV

  34. The Sero technology by Samsung would be really cool in the Samsung 65″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN65Q60TAFXZC). We still have a Plasma TV from almost 15 years ago that has two permanent black lines in the picture. I’m blown away from all of these TVs because they are leaps from ours. We need an upgrade bad!
