Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

  6. Definitely choosing the Sony Master Series 77 XBR77A9G. Idc about any other brand. I’m a huge Sony fanboy, I have every single PlayStation connected to my current 40″ Bravia. I have to experience everything they offer in full 4K, UHD with my Sony Surround Sound receiver. The best things about this tv are the spectacular motion rates and the new Triluminos display. I’m huge on photo mode so being able to see every little detail in all of Sony’s first party games would be a massive upgrade. Plus, the new upscaling abilities will make my PS2 games POP!

  7. For the Sony, the X-Motion Clarity technology has my interests piqued. To think about how that handles for both movies and gaming has me salivating. My current favourite has to be the Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED Android Smart TV (XBR65X950H). Would be a great addition to our new place.

  30. This is definitely a dream tv, as it is not any near my budget. Samsung 98″ 8K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV. I mean its 8K. Imagine the picture on this beauty. And the Direct Full Array 16X with concentrated LED zones brings out hidden details in the darkest scenes so you don’t miss a thing. Bring on the movies and the popcorn, I wouldn’t have to leave home.

    The Samsung 8K quantum processor sounds… just wow! I find apps more convenient as well. I would love the Samsung The Frame 65″ 4K UHD HDR QLED Tizen Smart TV (QN65LS03TAFXZC) in my living room. The Art Mode feature sounds perfect for me.

    I’m enjoying the Samsung 32″ 1080p HD LED Tizen Smart TV (UN32N5300AFXZC) in my small room.

    a) What I love the most about the brand new Sony Premium TV’s is the awesome TRILUMINOUS display they all have equipped. I have watch Fast Five about 10 times, and I would watch it a couple more with this beautiful display feature!

  50. a) The LG OLED TV with NVIDIA G-SYNC really piques my interest. I’m dying to get my hands on the PS5 when it finally comes out and this would be a perfect fit! Looks and a brain!
