Tape decks were nifty back in the 80’s. CD players had their day until the MP3 player took off, and then streaming services came along. It looks like they’re here to stay, but who knows what the future holds? The vinyl record player, on the other hand, has assumed an unshakeable position in mainstream culture. No matter what decade you decide had the best beats, vinyl record players are a timeless piece of audio equipment that every music lover should have hooked up at home. If you agree, and you’ve had your eye out for something special, then read on to find out how you can enter for a chance to win your very own TEAC TN-280BT USB turntable.

A vintage-yet-modern must-have for music lovers

Boasting a solid MDF base to minimize vibration and resonance, the cast aluminum black platter, walnut plinth, and discreet control dials offer a clean, minimal design. Aesthetically, this turntable may seem like a vintage piece of audio gear, but the TEAC TN-280BT is made to accommodate the contemporary times we live in.

Check out the review by Brad Moon and learn more about what makes this vinyl record player so appealing to all ages of audiophiles. You’ll discover that the modern twist of this vintage-looking turntable is the connectivity options. The TN-280BT boasts an integrated pre-amp, RCA jacks, phono output, and a USB type-B connector so you can record music files to your computer. It’s even Bluetooth-enabled, so you can pair your record player with wireless speaker systems.

So whether you fondly remember when Bill Haley and His Comets rocked around the clock, or tend to gravitate towards today’s wave of electronica artists, the TEAC TN-280BT USB turntable will connect to almost any audio system, and is the perfect piece of equipment to complement relaxing after a long day, or raising the tempo for the weekend ahead.

  21. So, I’m new to the new turntable world. Last Christmas I asked my partner for one but alas didn’t get one, lol. TEAC TN-280BT turntable looks very classy and slim line which as a minimalist I can definitely appreciate. I’d pair it with the Bose SoundTouch 10 & SoundTouch 30 III Wireless Speakers Bundle, so I can hear the awesome warm vinyl music feeling in two separate different rooms through the Bose wireless speakers system. This would be great for my annual halloween party, which I know will be a hit with all my friends. They probably will want one of their own when they see it in action. Finally, I can ask my parents for some of their old records to start a collection of my own.

  24. What can i say, though im not a dj, i may be considered one when I was five. I played all the vinyl from 15/33/45 rpm and Disney stories were my favourite. im a 70s baby and i spun all the disco with my family. yes, at 5. I have wanted a turntable after my vynals began to be replaced in the 80s with cassettes, but I rolled with it. Once digital came and the CD was the movement, i again wished for a turntable. Amazing product that you offering with in the contest and to hear all the nuances and layers of music on vynal does require a special set of speakers. A known lover of music of all genres, I would pair my turntable with Kanto YU2, or YU4 Red. A great Canadian product that is competitive, offering turn-key solutions, great sound, and with some style that is red hot for old and new tracks!
