I am so happy to see that the Geek Squad managed to find an acceptable solution for mounting your TV on your wall. The installation looks nice and clean, no messy wires hanging and as you mentioned, it was approved by your Wife, most important.
Augmenting this installation with a mounted Sound Bar and wireless subwoofer, will complete the “Mini Theater feel” and the ensemble.
Also consider what kind of mount. Full motion costs more and heavier. But you get easier access to the ports at the back and you can rotate the TV around the room for better viewing.
