Recently, I had the chance to visit LG’s New Jersey Business Innovation Center Showroom and go hands-on with its 2026 OLED TV lineup. I spent time with several of LG’s newest models, including the LG G6 OLED, the LG C6 OLED, and the larger-screen LG CH6 OLED. And I was impressed after seeing them in person.
Let’s dive deeper into each one of these models and find the right one for you with my in-depth comparison.
What is the main difference between LG’s OLED 2026 lineup?
At a glance, it might seem like the difference comes down to price and size. In reality, there is more going on with specs and the feature set.

The LG G6 OLED, is the flagship high-end model in this comparison. It has LG’s most advanced OLED picture technology, including Hyper Radiant Colour Tech, Brightness Booster Ultra, and the ultra-fast Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3. It’s also set apart from other OLEDs with its specialized, Reflection-Free Premium multi-layer screen coating. It’s designed to absorb incoming light without detracting from the picture’s vividness. The panel eliminated much of the glare in the showroom during my demo and left me extremely impressed. It’s built for users who want the brightest, most refined OLED picture LG offers.
Next up is the LG C6 OLED, which is the more mainstream premium OLED. It still has many high-end features. They include Perfect Black, where it can turn off individual pixels, Dolby Vision, Filmmaker Mode, HDMI 2.1, and up to 4K 165Hz support for compatible PC gaming. On the other hand, the LG C6H OLED is the biggest and brightest in the C-Series. The larger 77-inch and 83-inch models offer Hyper Radiant Colour Technology and Brightness Booster Pro. That alone makes the C6H stand out if you are shopping for a large OLED and want more brightness without automatically jumping to the LG G6 OLED.
This makes the LG C6H OLED a strong fit for larger rooms where screen size matters just as much as picture quality. If you sit farther from the TV or want a more cinematic setup for movies, sports, and gaming, the C6H offers added scale while enhancing many of the premium OLED features in its Tandem OLED 2.0 display panel.

Why choose the LG G6 OLED?
1. Picture quality is top priority
In person the LG G6 OLED offered incredible highlights with more punch. Colours looked vivid without feeling overdone and the screen handled showroom lighting incredibly well. That last part is important because OLED TVs are famous for looking great in dark rooms. But it’s hard to achieve perfect low-light theatre conditions for watching TV.
2. Excellent daytime viewing
If your TV is going into a bright living room with windows, lamps, or daytime viewing, the LG G6 OLED makes a lot of sense. The Reflection Free Premium screen is designed to reduce glare while preserving those deep OLED blacks and rich colours. That gives it an advantage over the C-series in rooms where lighting can be harder to control.
The trade-off is price. The LG G6 OLED is the premium model, so you are paying for that extra brightness, reflection handling, and design. But if you want the best OLED in this comparison, this is the one.

Why choose the LG C6 OLED?
1. Offers core OLED experience people love
The LG C6 OLED is probably the TV that will make the most sense for many users. It offers deep blacks, excellent contrast, vibrant colour, wide viewing angles, and super-fast response time while gaming. From the demos I saw, movies look dramatic, sports look smooth, and games feel responsive. It’s the kind of TV that can handle almost everything you throw at it.
2. Ready for high-end gaming
What makes the LG C6 OLED so appealing is that it doesn’t feel like a compromise. It still has premium features, including the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, webOS smart features, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, HDMI 2.1 inputs, VRR, G-SYNC, FreeSync Premium, and up to 4K 165Hz gaming support for compatible PCs. The C6 is excellent, but the G6 has the edge for brightness and reflections.
The LG C6 OLED’s specs translate into a smoother and more responsive experience. HDMI 2.1 helps unlock high-resolution, high-frame-rate play on modern consoles and PCs. VRR, G-SYNC, and FreeSync Premium help reduce screen tearing and stutter when frame rates fluctuate, which makes your gaming experience even more immersive. The 4K 165Hz support is especially useful if you are a PC gamer who want fast motion, sharper clarity, and lower input delay in competitive games.
Why choose the LG C6H OLED?
1. Immersive screen size
The LG C6H OLED is the model I would consider if you are shopping for a larger OLED. The 77-inch and 83-inch models use an advanced Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 OLED panel with Hyper Radiant Colour Technology and Brightness Booster Pro. These are the biggest and brightest panels in the C-series lineup. They also feature the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, 165Hz gaming support, NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium, and a blazing-fast 0.1ms response time.

2. Stronger brightness than the LG C6 OLED
The LG C6H OLED should not be thought of as simply “a bigger C6.” The larger C6H models are positioned more like enhanced big-screen C-series TVs, with stronger brightness technology than the smaller C6 models.
It is a very appealing “middle ground.” You get a more immersive screen size and stronger brightness-focused features. But you may not need to move all the way up to the LG G6 OLED, depending on your setup.
Which LG OLED is best for gaming?
Based on the specs and my experience, all three are excellent gaming TVs. The LG G6, C6, and C6H OLED TVs support the features gamers should look for in a premium TV. These include HDMI 2.1 inputs, all TVs support VRR, NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium for smoother, tear-free gaming, low input lag, fast response time, and up to 4K 165Hz for compatible PC gaming.
These features help supported games feel much smoother, sharper, and more responsive overall. VRR support helps match the TV’s refresh rate to the game’s frame rate, which can reduce distracting tearing or uneven motion. The fast OLED response time also helps motion look crisp, whether you are moving through an open world, racing at high speed, or playing a competitive online match.
The difference is really about the experience you want. The LG G6 OLED gives you the most premium gaming image, especially in brighter rooms, while the LG C6 is the best all-around gaming value. The LG C6H is the one I would choose if you want the biggest, most immersive gaming screen in this comparison.
For console gamers, all three TVs offer the key premium gaming features you would want for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch 2. For PC gamers, the higher refresh rate support makes these models especially appealing if you have a powerful gaming rig that can push frame rates beyond what a traditional 120Hz TV can display.
Which LG OLED TV should you buy in 2026?
When it comes down to which LG OLED best suits you, it’s all about what you are looking for and your home theatre setup. The LG G6 OLED is the best choice if you want the best picture quality, better bright-room performance, premium HDR, and a clean wall-mounted setup. If you are looking for the best overall value, the LG C6 OLED is the best fit. It offers an excellent balance of OLED picture quality, gaming features, and smart TV tools. The LG C6H OLED is the one to consider if you want a larger 77-inch or 83-inch OLED with advanced brightness technology and a more immersive big-screen experience.
