Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

  3. My favourite is the Sphero Star Wars BB-9E App-Enabled Droid (VD01FCA) in the Black/Grey.I love the colour presentation and the menacing look. It is great that it has the feature of authentic movements, so it moves just like in the movie.

  9. I would love to win the Littlebits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit. The reason this is my fave, is because I have a 7 yr old autistic nephew, and I’m always looking for fun things to do with him. He loves drones etc, so I’m sure he’d love the prize pkg. Thanks so much for the opportunity!

  15. I like the littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit because as you build it you learn and can customize it to your preferences. It is wonderful to be able to see how things work and then operating them knowing why it does those special movements.

We are talking virtual reality and the ability to dual Darth Vader and show him how it’s really done! I see hours upon hours of enjoyment from such a device and I’d be the envy of everyone I know!

  33. My favourite has to be the Little Bits Droid inventor kit. I’m a big fan of little bits and would love to have more, since they all work together. I really like that i can pair my sets with my nephew’s to work together on projects.

  36. My favorite is the UBTECH Star Wars Stormtrooper Robot. I have the old Astromech R2D2 and love playing with it. The interactivity and multiple ways to play make it a toy that never gets old. This toy however takes it to a new level with more technically advanced fun and learning experiences. Compared to a lot of other toys offered in this contest it offers enjoyment for both adults and kids alike.

  37. Thanks so much Best Buy! My favourite toy is the Sphero Star Wars R2-Q5 App-Enabled Droid! Why? Because I think this would be the coolest thing to have roaming my house! I love the fact I control it with my Bluetooth Smart Phone! I could have hours of fun with this droid and be in droid heaven!

  39. Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon would be our Fav! We just came back from Disney where our son got to participate in the Jedi training…he absolutely loved it! This would be fun to have at home!

With the fall colours and sunny weather… we could get some awesome footage! Never mind the fact that my husband is a HUGE Star Wars fan and would be over the moon to get his hands on these!
