Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

If you think about it, R2 has saved pretty much everyone’s butt in the series & many would not have survived without him and that’s why he’s my favourite!

  12. The Star Wars Stormtrooper Robot is my fav. I think it would be great to learn how to control him. My 5 year old is completely obsessed with Star Wars and has turned me into a fan. I think it would be a great learning experience for my boy and I to figure him out together. It would be a great bonding experience. And, the Trooper is so cute!

  19. I LOVE the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App Enable Droid, I love the details, the precision of it to the real R2 D2 and of course it’s interactions. What stood out the most to me was when you watch your Star Wars Movie, you can watch R2D2 during the actions scenes to see how he interacts during these moments. What an amazing Droid.

  21. Who does not want a drone! I would love the Propel RC Star Wars X-Wing Battling quadcopter.
    This drone has some fun features. It can battle with other drones, has a working battle cannon and can do barrel rolls with a push of a button and travel up to 35mph! It comes with a cool collector box that has lights and music.

    LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES, I can finally turn that into reality (in game form of course) and fulfill that childhood dream, and allow my children who are huge Star Wars fans as well, live that reality. This would be a great Christmas gift for the entire family.

  31. Sphero Star Wars BB-9E App-Enabled Droid is my favourite for sure! My love of stars wars has also been passed down to my kids and BB8 and R2D2 are their favourite characters. So to be able to play and interact with this droid together with my kids would be amazing and would be the reason why this toy would be my favourite.

  33. R2D2 a favorite in this stellar group since I was a young and he is now a favorite of my kids and grands. He is a classic Droid uncomplicated & true who Beep Beep Boops his way across the galaxy . I was gifted an R2D2 carry on to take on my first flight, my family knows me well. I really Love that dinged up blue and white bucket of bolts, beeps & boops.

  35. My fav is R2D2. You have to remember, I saw Star Wars (Chapter IV) when it was first released in 1977. C3P0 was cool, but obviously a guy in a suit. R2D2 was just fascinating, He was small, fierce, brave, and loyal to the very end.

  36. Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges would be my favourite. Being able to battle Maul, Vader and Kylo Ren with a lightsaber in AR would be so much fun. Plus, the lightsaber hilt controller looks really cool!

  40. My son’s favourite is BB8, being only 3 and seeing BB8 rolling around the screen he loves it, he would love SPHERO STAR WARS BB-9E APP-ENABLED DROID. Me being a fan of the original and having been so lucky to meet Kenny Baker I would love to own SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID, together I think we could drive my wife crazy.
