eufy-Floodlight-Cam-2-Pro

CES 2022 is shaping up to be a big year for the Anker brand and their smart home line: eufy. Both received CES 2022 Innovation Honoree awards. eufy Security announced a new collection of security cameras just prior to and during CES 2022. Let’s take a look at the new products announced and some of the notable features.

eufy Floodlight Cam 2 Pro

Eufy Security Floodlight Cam 2 Pro

This is a CES 2022 Innovation Honoree and it arrived at Best Buy already (so you can already get this amazing camera for your home). The eufy Security Floodlight Cam 2 Pro gives homeowners peace of mind with 360° pan and tilt controls. The floodlight produces 3,000 ANSI Lumens of brightness with no blindspots. As soon as the camera detects a trigger, the smart subject lock and tracking feature follows suspicious activity across its field of view.

The eufy Security Floodlight Cam 2 Pro produces 2K video resolution for viewing. The temperature of the light colour is adjustable to suit the homeowner’s needs.

Unlike other many security cameras on the market, this is a one-time purchase. There are no monthly fees or hidden costs to take advantage of all the features. Everything is done on the device for complete security and transparency. Even the recorded footage remains on the camera for up to 14 days of captured video. I think this will appeal to a lot of homeowners, myself included.

eufy Security Video Doorbell Dual

eufy Security Video Doorbell Dual

The eufy Security Video Doorbell Dual is designed to fight porch pirates. Instead of just a single camera, it features dual cameras for a dual purpose. It can track both people and packages at the same time using different cameras. Also, this is the first battery-powered dual doorbell camera. This is perfect for homes that do not have a doorbell power source.

One camera is forward-facing with 2K resolution and the second is 1080p downward-facing camera to keep an eye on delivered packages. The front-facing camera has a 160-degree field-of-view (FOV) while the downward-facing camera’s 120-degree FOV monitors packages. If you do a lot of online shopping, this camera was designed for you.

Built-in AI has a new Family Recognition feature that uses AI to recognize friends and family. Dual motion detection uses PIR and radar technology to reduce false alerts by detecting people versus other types of motion. This is an important feature because it minimizes false positive detections. If you get an alert, you know it’s something worth looking at.

eufy Security Garage Control Cam

eufy Security Garage Control Cam

Home surveillance now extends to the garage with the eufy Security Garage Control Cam. This acts both as a garage door controller and security camera for inside your garage. It uses a 1080p camera and pairs with sensors that monitor a door’s status.

On-board AI can distinguish between people, vehicles, and other movements and sends notifications to users.  The camera detects a garage door left open. The device will then send alerts to homeowners. Geo-fencing also triggers alerts whenever someone enters a specific area. This is a great feature for online package deliveries.

The camera streams high-definition videos to the app for real-time viewing. Best of all, video streams can store up to 32 GB of video on a local SD. This is perfect for people who don’t want to pay a monthly subscription fee.

This product will launch in March and will be available in two versions, the $99 standard version with a 1080p camera and control for a single garage door and a $129 “Plus” version with a 2K camera and two-door.
