Printer on desk with headphones and notepadBack to school season means a change of pace for everyone, whether you’re headed into a new semester of university, sending little ones back to school, or running a business. While you’ve been getting ready for the season so have we. Since we know that printers are essential for back to school, we sent out Epson EcoTank wireless printers for review and now you have a chance to win one.

Epson EcoTank printers really do have Super Tanks

Ink in Epson PrinterOne of the best features of the Epson EcoTank printers is that they use ink tanks rather than cartridges. These tanks last up to up to 80 times longer than a traditional cartridge, offering about 2 years of printing. This means you don’t have constantly buy new cartridges or go through the infuriating experience of running out of ink when you have a deadline to meet. As someone who grew up with traditional cartridges, I’d like to take this time to apologize to my parents for late night ink-induced panics and also to thank the neighbours who let me use their printers. Truly, these were my childhood heroes.

We sent out these models to our bloggers for review, so they are already loaded up with ink and ready to go. It’s worth noting that both Shelley and Ted found the tanks easy to fill and nary a drop of ink spilled. You can read Ted’s review of the ET-3710 and Shelly’s review of the ET-2760 to find out more about each model.

Wireless printers that connect to a host of services

You can use Wi-Fi or the Epson app to connect these wireless printers to your phone or computer. This allows you to print, copy, and scan via the app, and even print photos directly from your phone. Shelly was a big fan of the Epson app and found it very user-friendly.

The printers are also compatible with Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud, as well as DropBox, OneDrive, Evernote, and Google Drive, which is handy when you’re scanning and saving files. They also offers remote printing, so you can email a document to the printer and it will print automatically. The printers also have screens and buttons to navigate the functions, so you aren’t tied to your device to use them.

HOW TO ENTER

Entering is easy, but you can only enter once! In a comment below, tell us how one of these printers would help you in the back to school season! Maybe you work from home and are tired of finicky cartridges or perhaps you have a child who is always running out of ink for their school projects.

WHAT YOU CAN WIN

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select four winners from all eligible entries. Two winners will receive the Epson EcoTank ET-2760 Inkjet Printer and two will receive the Epson EcoTank ET-3710 Inkjet Printer.

This contest runs from to September 10th to 24th.

Remember, you only get a single entry, but that doesn’t mean your friends and family can’t enter as well. Back to school is a season for everyone (even if the only change for you is the increased traffic on the road) so share this chance for some home office improvements!

  1. A new printer would be a wonderful blessing. Was going to take my granddaughter down to Best Buy this coming week but will wait for the contest’s end. Sounds like this new printer would be bother better and cheaper than the old one that needs replacing.

  2. We don’t have a printer, so having one would be so great for my boys who are in grades 4, 5, 7 and second year university. Currently we have to do all our printing either at the library or with special permission at their school. Thanks for the chance.

  3. Having to print off kids homework while at work is a pain as our last printer has bit the dust. This would take the pressure off of that.

  4. This would be perfect. I always leave everything till the last minute and inevitably have to run out to get ink right before something important is due.

  5. This would be helpful in that it would supplant the intrigues and expense of toner or cartridges which tend to vacate wiring at critical moments. Indeed, who doesn’t write the required piece at, or beyond, the last moment?

  6. Our old printer won’t connect with our new laptops and with 2 kids in high school t one of these printers would really help out

  7. the ink tanks last up to up to 80 times longer than a traditional cartridge, offering about 2 years of printing this would be fabulous

  8. cartridges are expensive and I hate having to go to school, work or the library to print my stuff. Having a printer at home would make my life so much easier.

  9. I volunteer for an organization as the treasurer so I would use it to print out various reports and spreadsheets etc

  10. OMG! 2 kids and their high school projects….we go through too many ink cartridges and they are always empty when they need to print the final project. Something like this would be a life saver!

  11. It will be real useful for the preparation of my thesis. I most certainly will use it to print my own as well as the ones from a few classmates.

  12. One of these would definitely help me out!! My home printer ran our out ink AGAIN and of course it’s very expensive to refill. The family will be needing printing soon!

  13. What a wonderful giveaway! I teach ELL to over 38 students, both resident and international. I have a lot of paperwork, especially during assessment and reporting times throughout the year. A new printer would be amazing to help with my professional work. Personally, I’m often printing out visuals for my daughter to help her speech and language development. She is delayed and needs daily support so this printer would also be useful personally. Thank you for the chance to win, Twitter fan@plumerea

  14. I love that this connects wirelessly to phones or computers, the way of the future is getting rid of all cables. My kids are all adults but I will say that they all complain that their printers run out of ink far too quickly and usually in the middle of an important project. This printer would put an end to that for everyone. Unfortunately, my own printer is a Samsung and they have sold/given their rights to another firm and since then the scanner part hasn’t worked properly with the new software.

  15. I need this for all the essays and projects that need to be printed out. I have bad hands and dislike hard to insert cartridges

  16. my printer is old and is now becoming difficult to order the cartridges, a new printer would be amazing, with school projects there is lots of printing to do
