An Amazon Kindle makes reading easier, anywhere. With a Kindle in your hand, the simple, wonderful experience of reading from a book is amplified due to enhanced simplicity, and a more thorough reading experience. You’ll read more often, in more places.  Enter for a chance to experience this yourself with the all-new Kindle.

Kindle changed reading forever

There were ereaders prior to 2007, but when the first Kindle was released that year reading was transformed. It was, and still is, light enough to hold in your hand for hours, easy to use, capable of holding a lot of books (thousands in today’s version), and versatile. Not only could you get the newest blockbuster, you could load it up with classics, with magazines, and more. Additionally, you could quickly look up unfamiliar words right on the device, and keep reading with a more thorough understanding.

Books are nice to have, but you can do a whole lot more with a Kindle. The all-new Kindle is aptly named. Use it anywhere—even in the dark thanks to its LED lit screen. It will “light a fire” within you to explore more literature than ever. We sent this ereader to Ted Kritsonis for his unbiased opinion. Watch his video review of the device, then read how to enter this contest for your chance to win the all-new Kindle.

  8. I currently read 2-3 books per month and probably 8 magazines. I’d probably read one more book.

  12. I believe I would read a book a week if I won this. Currently I take about 6 weeks to finish a book.

  13. Currently I am lucky if I get through one in a month, hopefully I can increase that to 2 or 3 with they nice weather. Hopefully I can spend some time reading on my deck this summer.

  14. I usually read 1-2 books a month, but with this Kindle, I could take it everywhere and read at least 4 (and most likely more)!

  15. Hmmmm….I’m going to say 0.1 a month at best. With a new kindle?!? One. (Tenfold increase!)

  16. I read a couple books a month but I would probably read a few more if I had a good reader.

  17. I currently read 1 book per month my eye site is not was it use to be even with new glasses so I need very good lighting and the right size print. If I had the ereader I would hope to read about 2 or 3 per month.

  18. I typically read about 3 paperbacks a month. I usually get in a chapter or three before bed every evening (or morning as I shift work).
If I had a Kindle, probably still 3, but maybe 4 as an e-reader is more portable than a paperback.

  19. I read at least two books a month right now. I would likely read three maybe more if I owned a Kindle.

  20. I read 1 book a month. The Call of C’thulu is my favorite short story. I would probably read 10 books a month with this reader.

  21. I try to read 2-3 books a month! it’s hard when i’m busy working full-time and taking care of children. Would love this e reader to be able to read at work while on my breaks & share with my children!

  22. I unfortunately only read one book a month (I’m a slow reader) if I won the kindle I would probably ready 2 books a month! Or try my best to get one and a half.

  23. I read at least 2 books a month, often more, especially in the summer. If I won the kindle, I would probably read twice as much because it’s easier to carry a kindle to the beach or the park than a stack of books.

  24. honestly, not many… but i think i know someone who would get kick out of it once i gift them this!

  25. I read 1 book a month and with a Kindle I would definitely double that as it would be more convenient to read with this device.

  26. I ‘ve signed up the for the Harper Collins “50 book pledge” (50 books in a year) and I’m on track. I read about 3-4 books a month and I expect to read maybe 4-6, if I win this prize

  27. 5 to 7 per month depending on the weather. 🙂
If I won this, I would most likely read the same amount – but with less eye strain.

  28. I read about 1 or less books per month depending on time available. I will likely read more if I have this product. =)

  29. Do book jackets count? I read about one a year. A Kindle will definitely improve that number since they’re many free titles to download.
