Reading broadens and shapes your mind

Since I was a child, I have loved reading. Even now as an adult, I can’t go to a coffee shop without a book in my backpack. I even remember the first book I ever read: the Call of the Wild by Jack London. It’s the book of my childhood. It shaped my imagination in regards to what Canada is about—magnificent mountains, landscapes, harsh winters, and more.   39. What really amazed me about the Kobo Sage is the 32GB of storage. I wasn’t sure how many books that represents, so I read the Best Buy description and it said this means you could store thousands, yes thousands, of books. My daughter spends much of her year doing field work, without access to a library and often without great wifi, so this would be perfect for her. She loves to read, but has to travel light, so can’t pack lots of books. She’s off to Antartica next, so hopefully I can win her this Kobo Sage for her work trip!

  41. I like many things about this Kobo Reader but in particular the fact that it is waterproof. Great around the pool when on vacation.

  46. The dark mode would be nice to use. The light from my tablet is a little too bright for reading in bed at the end of the day.

  49. The feature that I like best is the long battery life. I read a lot, and I don’t want to have to recharge every day.
