Get a lifelike picture in glorious HDR colour with the X950G 4K HDR TV from Sony. This new 4K TV has a vibrant and incredibly clear 4K picture that displays your favourite movies and TV the way they were meant to be seen.

Powered by the Picture Processor X1 Ultimate, your content has never been brighter than with Full Array Local Dimming & Boosting. Plus, X-Motion Clarity technology makes action scenes look like real life—with no blurring.

Android TV and the Google Assistant are built-in to this smart 4K TV meaning you can ask for anything you want.7 You’ve got hands-free voice search and you can also control smart home devices like Nest™, or access many of the apps and services you already use every day, including YouTube™, Netflix, Spotify and more.6

We all enjoy watching Netflix. Enhance that experience using Netflix Calibrated Mode exclusively on select Sony TVs. This feature has been specially developed to let you enjoy Netflix originals as they are meant to be seen; with picture quality on a TV that is as brilliant as the studio evaluation master the director uses. With Netflix Calibrated Mode, the creator’s vision and intent is perfectly preserved.8

Your new 4K TV is only as good as the smarts inside it and in the Sony X950G 4K HDR TV you can enjoy enhanced brightness and intense contrast with Full Array Local Dimming & Boosting.

This technology dynamically changes the light levels in sections of the screen depending on the content, meaning you’ll see a more realistic and vibrant picture overall. Plus, X-tended Dynamic Range™ PRO 6x technology gives the screen six times the contrast range of a conventional LED edge-lit TV.3 By more accurately balancing the light output across the screen, darker scenes get darker and brighter scenes get brighter—without harshness, glare or losing quality.

To create truly great video in a TV, you need the best technology. Sony’s proprietary 4K HDR Picture Processor X1™ Ultimate is the best processor—ever. It allows video that hasn’t been shot in 4K resolution to be upscaled instantly for a picture that looks nearly identical to the real thing.

How does it work? Object-based rendering on the Sony X950G 4K HDR TV happens as you’re watching the screen but at lightning speed, instantly remastering and upscaling everything you see to near-4K HDR quality.1,2 And you don’t have to do a thing!

TV technology is evolving at breakneck speed, and today many of the technologies that were once only available to movie theatres and Hollywood production houses can now be found in your media room.

4K resolution brings ultimate sharpness and detail while HDR (High Dynamic Range) replicates colour like never before. These features combine to bring dazzling detail, vibrant colour and intense contrast to everything you watch, while keeping a far wider range of brightness than other video formats.1

Sony X950G 4K HDR TV features IMAX Enhanced,™4 which makes movies feel larger than life, and Dolby Vision™5 which brings scenes to life with striking highlights, deeper darks and vibrant colours.

Expect the Sony X950G 4K HDR TV to deliver an ultra-realistic picture, creating an immersive and engaging cinematic experience that will immerse you fully in what you’re watching.
