If you have a compatible security camera, you can enhance its night vision capabilities using the LIFX A19+ smart lighting.
Use the infrared channel to make it easier to see the covered area through the compatible camera’s lens—ideal if you have a camera set up at your front or back door, or by the garage. You can more easily discern between a potential intruder, or just an animal rummaging around. This can also come in handy for a camera set up indoors, in a baby’s nursery, for example, so you can keep an eye on your little one at night.

Not only is the 1,100 lumens LIFX A19+ bulb equivalent to the brightness of a traditional 75-Watt incandescent bulb, but it’s also energy efficient, using only 11-Watts.
Each bulb (sold separately) will also last a long time. They’re able to run for an approximate 25,000 hour lifespan, based on turning them on up for an average of three hours per day. That’s the equivalent of 22.8 years of use!
