Streaming TV is about to get a whole lot better. The all new Chromecast with Google TV is designed to bring you the entertainment that you love, with super-fast streaming in up to 4K HDR1. The new Chromecast with Google TV can share personal recommendations from all your streaming service subscriptions2 including movies, TV shows, Netflix, Disney + and more—all in one place. No more jumping between apps to surf what to watch. Chromecast can curate your favourite shows, movies and entertainment for you all in one place. Plus, with its compact and handy remote, you can make changes in a snap without needing your smartphone—or just use your voice.

Super fast streaming in glorious 4K

A streaming system is only as good as its speed, so Chromecast with Google TV is made to deliver fast streaming, alongside a crystal-clear picture in up to 4K resolution1. Plus you’ll see brighter colours with HDR.

The compact size of Chromecast with Google TV belies its power; it can hide almost anywhere and stay easily out of sight, but it has all the streaming power you need.

Talk to your TV and let it serve you

Chromecast with Google TV has the power of the Google Assistant built in3. That means you can ask it literally anything from simple commands like turning the TV on or off, or adjusting the volume, to more complex demands you never dreamed were possible. Get Google to control your smart home, start your grocery list, or add Good Girls to your new “must-watch” list.

Sometimes you need the convenience of a remote. The all new Chromecast with Google TV comes with an ultra-compact remote control so you have everything you need at your fingertips. Just press the Google Assistant button on the remote and use voice search to find specific movies and shows. Or search by mood, genre, actress, and more. Plus, you get personal suggestions based on your subscriptions, viewing habits, and content that you already own.

Easy set up; easy to use

Streaming devices should be easy to use—for everyone in the family, whether that’s the kids or grandparents. Chromecast is compatible with almost any TV that has an HDMI port. Just plug it in, connect to Wi-Fi, and start streaming.

If you’ve ever tried to explain streaming channels to someone who’s not tech-savvy, you know it can be complex for some. With Chromecast with Google TV, your home screen keeps everything simply organized and easy to find at a glance; the home screen displays movies and shows from all your services in one place—including Netflix, Disney+, and more. No more switching between apps to decide what to watch.

1 Chromecast with Google TV requires a TV with an HDMI port, a Wi-Fi network, a Google Account, a nearby electrical socket or USB port, and a compatible mobile device. I have been using Google TV in its various incarnations since the original Logitech Revue.

  5. I love this. Having a device that is sleek looking but also small enough to stay out of sight plugged in. Giving me full access to the apps I need and want and can use on my phone. Total winner in my book. Definitely on the Christmas list this year

  6. I love that Chromecast is compatible with almost any TV that has an HDMI port and that it is so easy to get started streaming!

  7. Looking forward to a new setup that works without all the headaches of the old chromecast. Getting ready to cut the cord and upgrade everything, this couldn’t have came at a better time.

  8. I love that this would make my non-smart TV a smart TV! I love that its basically plug and play. The first thing I would watch is a great documentary on Netflix!

  9. What I love about chromecast is I dont have to spend hours searching, and clicking on my laptop anymore. I have the ability to stream everything from any device and I love it! We have chromecast on almost every tv in the house. I cannot wait to stream some Christmas movies, like my all time fave, The Santa Clause

  10. I like how easy this is to hook-up and use with Google Assistant. I want to use it on my other TV so I can stream Netflix and other movies.

  11. Chromecast makes tech easy for people like me who are not very good with gadgets. I can use it with ease and love watching my fave shows. I would watch Wentworth again as it was an amazing series,

  12. I love how futuristic it looks and that it has a remote and seems so easy to use, no confusion, so anyone can enjoy it! Also because you can have it set up so quickly so you can be watching your favourite movies and shows instantly!

  13. I’d love to win this! My tvs hulu app doesn’t get updates yet we pay for live tv. This would solve my problems for our living room!

  14. I recently had to get rid of my cable, because we can’t afford it. I was so excited when I read about the new Chromecast with Google TV about a month before its release. I would have already bought one if I had the money. I don’t have a smart TV so I can’t watch anything now. I look at different articles about it everyday, and even check stores near me. Lol, Whether I win one or not, hopefully I’ll somehow get one soon. I need to get caught up on some anime, and watch any new documentaries. Then I’ll be counting down for Stadia support in 2021.

  15. I love that this newest version has a physical remote! Among many other shows, I’d stream ‘Soulmates’ from the AMC app.

    • Correction: Keep forgetting that the AMC app doesn’t work in Canada. I’d stream ‘Fargo’ with the FX app.

  16. Having a Samsung Smart-but-dumb TV, with no voice control and casting features, this would dial the smartness to a 11.
I like the voice control features and the new remote, so the phone is not required anymore. I would love to binge watch Netflix and Amazon Prime while my daughter fights (and always wins đŸ˜‰ ) to watch Youtube Kids.

  17. I would give this to my parents as it will be easy for them to cast videos from their phones, but also to use it to watch netflix now that it has a remote.

  18. I love my old Chromecast for the flexible of sharing content with the room, but the new version? I love the voice integration. Really bumps it up a notch for me.

  19. I like the ease of use and the new look. Really like the remote and assistant function. I will enjoy the streaming of my shows from Netflix and Disney from one app.

  20. The biggest thing for me would be able to cast from my device to my tv. That would be ideal! Thank you so much!

  21. I love the feature to show personal recommendations on homepage. I would stream latest season of Ozark if I own it.

  22. I really like the new look of google tv and how easy to use chromecast is. The remote is a wonderful idea and we will be streaming lots of shows.

  23. I love that the Chromecast has the slick Google TV interface. Our current TV has smart app features built in but the interface is quite slow. This addon certainly would be a upgrade over that. I would stream the Blacklist as I am still catching up on past seasons.

  24. I like that they kept the ability to use the phone as the ‘remote’ as this is how I’ll usually use the new device

  25. Is simple and just works. I like that they kept the ability to use the phone as the ‘remote’ as this is how I’ll usually use the new device

  26. Glad to see Google drop the requirement to cast from a phone. It was an interesting idea that allowed them to produce cheap devices at the start but it was inconvenient and I started to avoid using our old chromecast device because of it.

  27. The remote has made a comeback, Google did an awesome job on the new chromecast. Just in time to watch Halloween movies.

  28. Chromecast with Google TV is an evolution of the Chromecast 2nd generation that we use exclusively on our TVs for years. It’s connected directly to my AV receiver and delivers everything we watch and listen to.

  29. Love chromecast cause it’s simple and it works! I can cast my phone, my computer, my tablet, and just about anything else whenever I want. I will probably use it to cast my pixel phone as I usually do and play games and such.
