Samsung is excited to introduce 70 years of award winning design and sound heritage from AKG by Harman with a new range of exciting products—one for every on-the-go music lover.

The lineup features AKG signature sound. Established in 1947, AKG by Harman has decades of experience leading the audio industry in delivering a studio-quality sound experience. These wireless headphones play music the way your favourite recording artists intended for it to be heard, instead of drowning out detail with processing and boosting. Don’t be surprised if you discover subtle nuances in music that you’ve never realized were there.

Whether you choose headphones or earbuds, with AKG by Harman you can expect exceptional audio performance, long battery life (with fast-charge support), sleek and ergonomic design, full support for taking voice calls, and a comfortable fit that’s ideal for all-day use.

The AKG Y500 wireless headphones suit your style, with a sleek design that made them 2018 IF World Design Guide winners. Made with premium materials, including a soft-touch headband, memory foam ear cups and aluminum, the AKG Y500 headphones are available in four colours.

The AKG N700NC headphones take your listening to another level with the inclusion of first-class noise cancelling. Enjoy a studio-quality listening experience, with Grammy-winning quality, free of distortion and distraction. You experience music the way it was intended to be heard, note for note.

Design excellence on these outstanding AKG wireless headphones extends to functionality and usability. Buttons on the ear cups make it easy to control your music. When you take them off, the music automatically pauses. Both offer extended battery life. Ambient Aware Technology lets you control how much background noise to let in, while the active noise cancellation in the AKG N700NC headphones ensure that distracting sound disappears altogether.

When you want the best in wireless earbuds, the AKG N200 wireless earphones should be at the top of your list. Designed for your on-the-go lifestyle, they feature a minimalist design that’s both lightweight and ergonomic.

The premium fabric neckband is comfortable, durable and tangle-free. The inline three-button remote makes it easy to manage your music, take phone calls, or interact with Bixby, Siri and Google Assistant. The AKG N200’s long-lasting battery offers up to eight hours of listening on a single charge, and speed charge technology gets an additional hour of music in just 10 minutes.

Listening to music on the AKG N200 wireless earphones is a pleasure. With AptX and AAC codec support, you can even enjoy lossless audio. No matter what the audio source, the AKG N200s deliver a clear and crisp, premium wireless sound experience.

The AKG Y100 wireless earphones offer everything you want in a pair of Bluetooth earbuds including long battery life, premium design, advanced features, and high quality audio.

The AKG Y100s feature multi-point support with the option to seamlessly switch between taking calls and listening to music using two different paired devices. The ergonomic neckband is light, soft, and flexible, with an inline universal remote that controls both music and calls. The long-life battery offers up to eight hours of music playback, with a quick 15-minute recharge extending that by an hour.

Listening to music is a pleasure, whether you’re relaxing or on the move, thanks to award-winning AKG reference audio with exceptional detail. With AKG’s proprietary Ambient Aware Technology, a simple touch of a button determines how much ambient noise you hear, so you can get lost in the music or stay aware of what’s going on around you.

  1. Depending on the type of studio work you need to do ( Recording or mixing tracks) with the headphones, I’d suggest either Sennheiser HD280 pro, or AKG K240 as great choices.

  2. I’ve thought about getting a good paid of studio headphones for getting the sound I need when I play bass guitar, but I haven’t gotten to it yet.
