Shopping can be fun, especially when you find what you are looking for. We are all on the lookout for the best deals, especially at this time of year and you know that Best Buy Boxing Day sales will have plenty of deals. In the spirit of keeping vigilant for great deals, we’ve prepared this fun contest. Our head office building staff put together an amazing Christmas village display: along the train track are some Best Buy gift cards. Watch the video as the Best Buy train travels through the village and look very carefully—there are four Best Buy gift cards placed strategically. Get inspired to give the tech they’ll love

Gifting inspiration comes in many ways. Sometimes a casual conversation with your mom sparks an idea that turns into a perfect gift for her. Perhaps you saw an advertisement, or a TikTok video, and knew immediately that your sister would love that item. On the blog we prepared a 12 days of Christmas series of articles to inspire you with some of the best tech we tested on the blog this past year. Check it out and you might find something new and exciting for someone on your list (or for yourself!).

A Best Buy gift card is a gift of choice

Okay so you’ve searched and searched but just can’t decide what to give someone on your list. That’s one of the best reasons to get a gift card. It’s like gifting an experience: they’ll peruse the Best Buy aisle in store, or the endless aisle at Best Buy online, to find the tech they need. Perhaps it’s a mouse for better productivity in 2024, or they’ll put the card towards a new mobile phone or laptop! The possibilities are endless when you give the gift of choice. And if you enter this contest, you might win one of four $100 Best Buy gift cards.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. Watch the video, then in an email to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with the subject line “Best Buy Christmas Train Contest” tell us at least one place within the Christmas Village where you saw a gift card. Do not put that information in a comment on the blog: you must send it in an email.
  2. Look at the selection of 12 days of Christmas articles, and in a comment below this contest tell us which of those articles has the tech you would love to receive this Christmas (you can mention more than one in your comment). Also tell us why you like that tech.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select four winners from all eligible entries. Each of the winners will receive a $100 Best Buy eGift Certificate that can be used online or in a store.

This contest runs from Dec 15th to Dec 28th.

Remember you can enter in two different ways as discussed above. We all love the gift of choice, so take this opportunity to reach out to your loved ones and tell them to enter this contest too.

  2. The Breville Barista Touch Impress is the total package. I’m so impressed by all the features especially the step-by-step guidance via the touchscreen for someone new to using one, which would be me. Great that it has a built-in grinder and auto steam wand that can be used to create microfoam. As a coffee lover, I’d love to have this premium espresso machine to have any time I want.

    I am the biggest fan of Mario since Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64. Mario is my inner childhood!

    Day 2 – Samsung NeoQLED TV – My current samsung tv is over 15 years old and it vibrates when bass is high.
    Day 6 – BenQ projector – Be great to watch movies on and my family loves movies.
    Day 7 – ASUS for work or fun – my husband doesn’t have a laptop would love for him to have one.
    Day 8 – Fujifilm instant photography – My granddaughter is been asking for one.
    Day 11 – Microsoft Surface – Would love a new laptop and this looks and sounds amazing.
    Day 12 – TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 – Always looking to stay better connected.

  21. I think my favourite day in the 12 days of Christmas articles is day 11. I love the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 and could see our family getting a lot of use out of it! I’m also a fan of day 7 and really liked the ASUS ZenBook!!!

    MS Surface & Surface laptops – 2-in-1 or convertible laptops is something that I would love to receive this Christmas! I like them for their versatility, power, graphics card and convenience of the touch screen.

  43. I would love day 3 google pixel 8 pro. My phone is near 3 years old now so it would be great to get a new phone. Used to have the Google pixel 2xl and the camera was amazing.

    2) Samsung NeoQLED TV- love that it has a solar powered remote control…no more searching for batteries just to change channel!!

  47. I think Day 11 with the Microsoft surface would be ideal for me. I could use a laptop and the option to use the touchscreen surface sounds like a great idea and my kids would love that as well for games and such.

  48. Days 2,3,7 and 10. 2 because we need to replace our old TV, 3 because I could use a better phone for photos and social media, 7 because hubby needs a new laptop (but says he doesn’t) and finally 10 is because I need fitness tracker to keep myself in check with my health and fitness goals.
