Shopping can be fun, especially when you find what you are looking for. We are all on the lookout for the best deals, especially at this time of year and you know that Best Buy Boxing Day sales will have plenty of deals. In the spirit of keeping vigilant for great deals, we’ve prepared this fun contest. Our head office building staff put together an amazing Christmas village display: along the train track are some Best Buy gift cards. Watch the video as the Best Buy train travels through the village and look very carefully—there are four Best Buy gift cards placed strategically. Get inspired to give the tech they’ll love

Gifting inspiration comes in many ways. Sometimes a casual conversation with your mom sparks an idea that turns into a perfect gift for her. Perhaps you saw an advertisement, or a TikTok video, and knew immediately that your sister would love that item. On the blog we prepared a 12 days of Christmas series of articles to inspire you with some of the best tech we tested on the blog this past year. Check it out and you might find something new and exciting for someone on your list (or for yourself!).

A Best Buy gift card is a gift of choice

Okay so you’ve searched and searched but just can’t decide what to give someone on your list. That’s one of the best reasons to get a gift card. It’s like gifting an experience: they’ll peruse the Best Buy aisle in store, or the endless aisle at Best Buy online, to find the tech they need. Perhaps it’s a mouse for better productivity in 2024, or they’ll put the card towards a new mobile phone or laptop! The possibilities are endless when you give the gift of choice. And if you enter this contest, you might win one of four $100 Best Buy gift cards.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways:

  1. Watch the video, then in an email to bestbuyblog@bestbuycanada.ca with the subject line “Best Buy Christmas Train Contest” tell us at least one place within the Christmas Village where you saw a gift card. Do not put that information in a comment on the blog: you must send it in an email.
  2. Look at the selection of 12 days of Christmas articles, and in a comment below this contest tell us which of those articles has the tech you would love to receive this Christmas (you can mention more than one in your comment). Also tell us why you like that tech.

What you can win

At the end of this contest, we will randomly select four winners from all eligible entries. Each of the winners will receive a $100 Best Buy eGift Certificate that can be used online or in a store.

This contest runs from Dec 15th to Dec 28th.

Remember you can enter in two different ways as discussed above. We all love the gift of choice, so take this opportunity to reach out to your loved ones and tell them to enter this contest too.

  7. A Microsoft Surface from Christmas day 11 to run windows specific apps my Mac cannot run. Or from Day 2 the Samsung NeoQLED TV, it would be nice to have a TV in the Bedroom.

    Would love a smart watch. Really intrigued by the tracking of my heart rate, my stress and my sleep. Don’t know what solar charging is, but it says the charge lasts for weeks. Gotta like that.

  28. “12 Days of Christmas – Day 8 is Fujifilm instant photography” has the tech that I would love to receive. An instant camera would be so much fun for all of our holiday get-togethers with family and friends.

  29. I would love to receive this; Segway Ninebot F2 Plus (I’ve always wanted one – my kids and I could then actually go out for family bike/scooter rides together) OR Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 – so I could work on growing my digital design business – Thank you Best Buy!

  34. Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas article has the tech I would love to receive this Christmas. Having to use my monitor as the only TV, the Samsung QN90C NeoQLED 4K TV would be a game-changer and it is what I most need right now.
