On February 19th and February 20th, Best Buy Canada is organizing an epic weekend event in Toronto so you can share a memorable experience with your loved ones. From live graffiti artwork to interactive tech nostalgia chalkboards, there will be something for everyone, so join us for an unforgettable Retro Tech Ice Disco.

Enjoy live graffiti artwork, music, and photo opportunities at the Bentway

Gather your loved ones and join us at the Bentway in Toronto on February 19th and February 20th for an epic Family Day. There will be a DJ booth powered by Best Buy Tech to set the ambiance for a day of fun and skating, and various activities for everyone to enjoy.

Watch as local graffiti artists paint original pieces live by the ice rink, play with interactive tech nostalgia chalkboards, and capture memories with your family at the photo-worthy installations. When it’s time to take a break from the ice, visit the health & fitness tech zone to relax and recharge. There will also be giveaways each day for attendees so make sure to join in the fun!

Opportunities to spend time with your loved ones can be few and far between. Why not start a new tradition for Family Day this year to look forward to every February? If you’re going to join us at the Bentway, ice skating could become a new tradition for your family. Or, if you live near mountains, you might like to go skiing or snowshoeing on Family Day to make the most of the Canadian winter days. If you’d rather spend the day indoors, playing a new board game every year might be a fun activity everyone would enjoy! Or, you and your loved ones could also enter one of our contests for a chance to win the latest and greatest tech!

  1. Going tobogganing as a family then Playing a new board game every year would be a fun activities we could enjoy!

  2. I would love to skate The Loop and enjoy the music and atmosphere and enjoy a hot chocolate afterwards.

  3. Would love to spend it going sledding then coming home to play a game or watch a movie together as a family.

  4. One activity I would love to do with your family every Family Day would be constructing a woodworking project like a birdhouse.

  5. If nice out snowshoeing in nearby park followed by a winter picnic, if too cold lunch and board games inside

  6. A tradition every family should try is Karting. We used to go every Thanksgiving growing up and even into adulthood. It seems such a simple thing, but it really is a blast.

  7. And ideal family day would be for my family to all have breakfast together in the morning. After breakfast we would get dressed and go sledding. After we would come home and make hot chocolate and a snack. Later we would then start a fire in the backyard and roast hotdogs and of course s’mores for supper. Next, we would play some board games and guitar hero. A great family movie would cap off an awesome family day.

  8. An annual Family Day hike through the local woods, as well as some board game activities at home over hot chocolate afterward, would be so much fun! I’d love to make that a tradition.

  9. I just want to spend time with my family and BBQ in the winter for dinner! That would be a wonderful tradition. Everyone is so busy these days, any time spent together is a great time!

  10. I’d love to start a tradition with my family of going to see Broadway across Canada shows together or something! My kids are getting older and my 4 year old is getting more and more into theatre. 🙂

  11. I have started playing puzzles on family day with my family members, we can play a 500-piece puzzle or 1000-piece puzzle for the entire day, and of course, with snacks and drinks to keep the brain working.

  12. I would like to start a family skating on a frozen pond followed by an outdoor cookout as a family tradition.

  13. Doing some sort of activity together on family day and then cooking a meal together is a tradition I would like to begin.
