Why do Vitamix appliances have such a great reputation

You have many appliance options for blending food. You could use manual labour: cook veggies until soft, mash them with a fork. I’ve done this a lot, given that I don’t own a Vitamix blender. That will produce variable results and can take a lot of effort. The best option, touted by people who have tried many different blending appliances, is to use Vitamix appliances. Vitamix owners consistently assert that these appliances are powerful enough to reduce veggies, fruit, nuts, and more to a smooth and satisfying consistency; also, that they are fast, reliable, and last for many years! Yes, they cost more than some other blending options, but most owners agree you get what you pay for.

We sent several Vitamix appliances to independent writers for an honest review on the blog. Check out this Vitamix blender review to learn more. Also, you can read about the new Vitamix Powered Food Waste Recycler. As you will read, this new addition to the Vitamix appliance lineup will reduce your food scraps to their base nutrients, basically dirt, that you can add to your plants. A great way to get the most from food and leave nothing to waste.

Top 3 things I would make with a Vitamix blender

Food is life and a Vitamix appliance is an investment for your life. I googled, “what can I make with a Vitamix blender” and now I know if I had one I’d use it everyday. Here are three things I would most frequently use it for:

  1. Desserts: I love sweets! Candy, especially, but I also bake a lot. For example, I make amazing macaroons with nut flours that I make from fresh nuts like almonds, pecans, etc. They are low in sugar and high in protein and look and taste amazing. This blender can make super fine, consistently ground flour from any nuts I have on hand.
  2. Smoothies: I don’t make these very often because my blender sucks. They come out chunky because the fruit isn’t mashed well enough, or if I use ice, the ice is not integrated. On a side note, I imagine that my Margaritas would be much more enjoyable for the same reason with a Vitamix too!
  3. Hummus: I love hummus and I have tasted hummus made using a Vitamix and … wow! So smooth and balanced and delicious.

Working on the blog program, I struggle with self-control. I edit and read articles everyday about new technology and have to adopt a strict policy of restraint or else the temptation to buy everything would take over. The new technology from Vitamix might get me to relax that policy.

  1. Vitamix Powered Food Waste Recycler is my favourite. I love plants and gardening, and I don’t like taking out my compost. Seems like the best of both worlds.

  2. My favorite is Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt blender because it would be good to make smoothies.

  3. I like the Vitamix 6500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender because it has both preset settings and power settings and I like that it has analog controls instead of a digital panel, which would probably allow it to be longer lasting.

  4. My favourite is the Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender because it’s max power at the right price.

  5. Definitely the Vitamix A2300 Blender & Food Processer Bundle! Those are the only two appliance on my wish list.

  6. Vitamix A2300 Blender & Food Processor Bundle – Black simply because it is a bundle, it’s a great deal.

  7. I like the Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender as It has enough power to blend frozen fruits and ice

  8. The Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender – Brushed Stainless Steel has large capacity with good power.

  9. My favourite is the Vitamix A2300 Blender & Food Processer Bundle because it will save me some space by having one base that fits both accessories.

  10. My favourite Vitamix is the Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender – Brushed Stainless Steel Model Number: 062436
    Web Code: 13711426
because its rating is 4.8/5! I’d be able to make my Dole Whip with no problem!!!!

  11. The Vitamix A3500 blender is my favorite, it’s Vitamix one of the most powerful blenders in the market and the A3500 is the peak performance of the brand of blenders besides the ability to crush ice into ice-cream and sorbet it also creates a smooth texture no matter what you blend. I’d love to make a nice smoothie, soup and ice cream!

  12. My favourite if the Vitamix E310 Explorian. Looks good, highly rated, and it’ll replace our probably decades-old blender.

  13. I like the Vitamix Powered Food Waste Recycler because it will help feed my gardens. I need all the help I can get.

  14. Le Vitamix 5-Speed Immersion Blender serait mon coup de coeur car il m’aiderait à manger plus santé

  15. The vitamin blender. I find that the blender I have doesn’t cut things as easily as it once did. It would be nice to try a blender with a reputation of pasting.

  16. The explorian E310 is my favourite because it is the perfect size, quiet, and one of the more affordable vitamix blenders that still offers the same power and performance as other blenders.

  17. My favourite is the Vitamix Powered Food Waste Recycler. I don’t have one yet and think its so important for us to do our part. What an amazing machine!

  18. lovely prize Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender so happy if i win smoothies of course and soups and juices

  19. Vitamix 6500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender – Platinum – I like that there are pre-programmed settings.

  20. The Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Blender is my favourite because I have to start doing smoothies for my diet and this blender sounds the most user friendly

  21. Well I am trying as much as I can to reduce waste The Food Waster Recycler looks like a great helper in this effort. I also like the Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender to help with our health and diet and to reduce waste of fruits and Vegetables.

  22. The Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender – Brushed Stainless Steel is my favourite Vitamix product because the 2.2hp peak output motor can take on even the toughest ingredients with ease!

  23. The suggestions in the post were: Smoothies, Frozen desserts and Hot soups. My typical smoothies are made with frozen fruit (blueberries, raspberries and currants) mixed with bananas, dates, home canned pears or peaches (with sugar syrup) walnuts, chia and anything else I have hanging around. If I let the fruit defrost first and thin the puree, it is a smoothie, if I freeze it for a bit, it is a wonderful frozen treat. As for the idea of hot soups, I do both hot and cold and would use the Vitamix to puree the ingredients as I do not have an immersion blender. I think the Vitamix would do it all!

  24. My favourite is the Vitamix A3500 1.9L 1500-Watt Stand Blender – Brushed Stainless Steel. The top 3 things I would make are smoothies, fresh vegetable juices and maybe even start grinding my own fresh flour.

  25. We had a Vitamix Blender for years, until it finally wore out. We made soups and ice cream the most. The A3500 1.9 l would be amazing to win

  26. The Recycler. I have a couple of places for all my food waste, this device would make it easier.
