An Oculus Quest 2 is real entertainment like you’ve never experienced before. Whether it’s watching a movie, playing a game, or exploring a new travel destination, you will not believe how close you get to being part of the action. This is definitely one of the hottest entertainment/gaming devices of the year, and we are very happy to be able to offer two as prizes in this contest.
Oculus Quest 2 is virtual reality with no strings attached
Finally VR has become what we all thought it was to begin with. You see, VR promised to allow us to feel like we are in a different place or time. Some do this better than others, and some, like the original Oculus, have been quite amazing. However, it’s hard to totally immerse yourself in a game or movie when an attached cable keeps tugging you back to the real world. That’s one of the immediate advantages of the Oculus Quest 2: with no tether, no attached cable, you quickly lose yourself—the virtual environment essentially becomes the real world for you!
We sent the prizes that we are giving away in this contest to our writers for an honest review. Read what Dave said about the new Oculus Quest 2 and you’ll understand why this is a big step forward for virtual reality.

Win an Oculus Quest 2 Rules and Regulations
Good luck.
No cables and gaming.
I’ve been able to try on the Quest 2 and I have to say it’s really comfortable with really good graphics. I love VR because it allows me to play with my friends from around the world and it kinda feels like being next to them! It’s a great experience in general.
no cable and i wanna play table tennis
I would love to win this as a Christmas gift for my kids. Let’s be honest, I’ll definitely use it too!
I love the idea of no cables, and that it’s a standalone product.
Plus, how awesome would it be to have something Dave used!?!
I like that I can use it without needing lots of other equipment. I would use it for gaming.
No cables and this would be used for gaming
I have been following the VR development for a few years now, and was very reluctant in investing in it due to its high cost and lack of community standards and app library. But things changed since the release of Quest 2, it’s much cheaper compare to the other VR sets, and even cheaper than the original Quest. Oculus has been building a steady collection of games and apps that it could actually be enjoyable to play it regularly like console now rather than just a novelty for a few days. I am very excited about the possibilities it brings, I don’t know if I could ever go back to traditional gaming and movie watching once the VR technology is mature. I have tried some VR gaming in the past, but the wireless headset should be the true way VR is meant to be, watching people tether themselves with a cable is funny and awkward, and I can’t imagine doing that myself, I would trip over for sure. I would usually avoid 1st gen tech devices, so owning the Quest 2 now is just about the perfect timing for me. The game I am dying to play on it would be Half-life Alyx which I have heard so much about, and also the various work-out games that will make exercise fun rather than mechanical and boring especially when we are stranded in home most of the time now.
no cables to tangle. I think I would use it mostly for gaming.
I would love to get into VR with the Oculus Quest 2 because it is a standalone product and I do not require a powerful PC.
A feature I find great is that it is wireless and very limited plugs or cables are needed. I would use it for gaming.
I like that it’s wireless and I’d use it for gaming!
1. The new head support
2. Gaming and 360 video
I love that its not tethered. I’d use it for BOTH gaming and movies, and what a great gift to share with the family.
I love VR and I’d get the most use of it from gaming
I would love to have this as my first Oculus product since I dreamed of having one since the first Oculus VR headset have been released. I’ll share the experience to my whole family and friends If we can, but probably have to sanitize it on each use and wait for a couple min though. Although if it’s not possible, I would use it on my Twitch live sessions and share my experience on this device since It’s a wireless one.
Oops. It said it was a dup so I clicked it a bunch of time.

The best feature is that it is wireless and can be used standalone as well. I would love to watch movies as well as play games on it sometimes
1. I love that the Oculus Quest 2 will bring a new element of immersion to gaming.
2. I will use the Oculus Quest 2 for gaming.

I like that it’s relatively light and hoping to use it for gaming.
Would love the try the oculus quest out and watch some movies on it!!
Also I love how it utilizes a USB-c port!
I love that there is so much to do with it, when we are all stuck at home this would be great to help keep us entertained. I and the family will be using it for both movies and games.
What’s not to love about being wireless. Would love to have one of these.
I love that the Oculus 2 is wireless, and I would use it to tour museums, world-famous landmarks and cities virtually. And of course to battle Darth Vader with a lightsaber.
I like that you don’t need a console or PC to use the Oculus Quest 2. It would be fin for gaming.
The Oculus Quest would be great to watch movies.
I would love to be able to have my own theatre to watch movies with on this Oculus Quest!!!
Best feature of Oculus Quest 2 is being able to bring it over to the relatives and let them try out VR without the hassle of setting up my PC and light towers and calibration.
Definitely will play some of the exclusive Quest games on it like Star Wars, tales from the Galaxies Edge!
What I love about the Oculus Quest 2 is the 64GB of internal storage and I would use it for gaming. Thanks to Martin Renaud and Bestbuy for this amazing contest!
It’s awesome that it’s wireless. I can’t wait to try both games and movies on it!
Wireless… watching movies where all my equipment isn’t.
Even since the pandemic, I have lost the motivation to get fit and exercise. I heard there are some good exercise games for the Quest. I am looking forward to trying them out and to see if I like VR in general as I’ve never tried it before.
I love the idea of a different reality that is virtual. You can live a whole new life and over the pandemic, I don’t have anything to do with my younger cousin and while he will be up for Christmas he has really wanted a VR headset, and I and his parents don’t have a PC. I have also been suggested that the Oculus Quest is cheap and good for beginners and you get your money’s worth for what you pay. Also, the recommended age range is 13+ witch he falls into. I believe that he will most likely use it for gaming.
Hi. I love the idea of cordless VR and that it can also double as a VR headset for PC games with the cord. I will probably primarily use it for pick-up and go gaming where I only want to play for 15-20 minutes at a time but I was to relieve stress and get my heart pumping. I heard games like Beat Saber and Thrill of the Fight are good for that. I also like the idea of using it as a virtual theatre where you can watch movies and TV shows on a big screen anywhere you are, even while travelling.
I watch a movie almost every night, so the standalone and wireless features would make this so convenient so I can sit anywhere in the room and watch my movies.
love that it’s wireless! and can’t wait to play beat saber without an annoying wire.
So cool how no strings are needed and I can play all the games I played with my old vr that broke like super hot.
I love that it’s versatile, you can use it standalone or link it to PC. Super high resolution display and no tracking devices!
I do a lot of sim racing, so I’d be gaming with that, plus there’s a fitness app that will connect to my rowing machine so I can row in vr. Beat saber, boxing, etc!
Just being able to experience a way out of this world and experience what it’s like in the pixel world that we call games. I wanna be one of the characters and would like to feel something different.
This would be amazing to play with my son!
I would love to play horror games with these! The fact that it’s wireless makes it safer to run with these during the jump scares. Hahaha
The lack of cables is something that’s great. I’d probably use it for gaming.
Wowza! How exciting would this be for all…Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas.
Being wireless!! And I would use it for movies and video gaming.
I would give it to my nephews to use for playing games. Probably would film them while they use this given some recent videos showing people using these VR devices.
This would be a big thing if our family get this prize. Wow! I love virtual equipment as this is the only way to see the places which we cant afford.
Love the accessibility of it, minimal wiring and easy connection just leads to getting into the game easier than ever before without sacrificing resolution. Would be using it for mainly gaming and through its USB-C connection to the PC.
Being a wireless VR system will make for great video gaming!
The Oculus Quest 2 is a self-contained portable VR system and I would use it to play games..
I love that it is a stand alone product…my nephews and I could easily use it at their home or mine. It would be used for gaming. #BestAuntie
