The biggest kids videogames coming this holiday season

The holidays are right around the corner and recently, I was invited by Outright Games, the leading global publisher of kids videogames, to their digital holiday preview event. During this preview event, I was able to remotely go hands-on with some of the biggest kids videogames coming out this holiday season from blockbuster kids franchises such as The Addams Family, Peppa Pig, Fast & Furious Spy Racers and PJ Mask.

I’ve written up a brief description and made a video on each of the games that includes the platforms the games are coming to, release dates, key features and the age range for each of the games.

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R is the first video game inspired by the popular Netflix original series. The game features tracks set in five different locations including Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro and the Sahara Desert. Spy Racers contains a story mode where the Spy Racers team must stop the elite criminal racing gang SH1FT3R from winning the ultimate cutting-edge vehicle that will cause chaos in the wrong hands.

You play and race as the series favourite characters including Tony Toretto, Echo, Cisco and Layla Gray. And, you can even race as the notorious SH1FT3R gang including Shashi Dar, Moray, Rafaela Moreno, and more. Moreover, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R features local split-screen multiplayer races for up to two players and online multiplayer for up to six players.

Blaze and the Monster Machines

Get ready to race with Blaze and his monster machine friends in Blaze and the Monster Machines. Blaze’s world comes to life from Axle City’s colourful streets to the awesome Monster Dome stunt track in this fun-filled game. Players can take control of their favourite characters from the TV series including Blaze, Pickle, Darington, Zeg, Starla, Stripes and even cheating Crusher!

You can boost, drift, jump and pull off stunts with ease. You can even power-up with the Wrench to activate your character’s unique skill.  and outsmart the competition. Customize Blaze and his friends in the garage. And with STEM education features, plus accessible control options like Auto-Drive Helper, Blaze and the Monster Machines allow younger players to race for glory.

My Friend Peppa Pig

If you have ever wondered what it would be like to be Peppa Pig’s new friend, you are in luck! In My Friend Peppa Pig you play as Peppa Pig’s new friend. You’ll create and dress your character, ring Peppa’s doorbell and begin a story that is all up to you.

During the game, Peppa suggests activities everywhere you go. Help Daddy Pig find his glasses, follow the animal tracks in the Forest, splash in muddy puddles and more! From my hands-on experience with the game, it feels like you are playing an episode of the TV show.

Each of the iconic characters have special abilities that will help you to explore the house, solve puzzles and find lost relics. In addition, The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem features competitive minigames that are fully unlocked from the very beginning of the game. In fact, you and your family can bump and jump over each other by going to the minigames from the main menu.

A wonderful assortment of kids videogames from Outright Games coming this holiday season

As you can see, when it comes to kids videogames, Outright Games has got a game for kids of all ages. I truly had a great time previewing their holiday line up. My favourite game was The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem. With four player local co-op and a whole mode dedicated to minigames, I can see my family and I spending countless hours playing.
