Forza Motorsport 6
Release Date: September 15, 2015
ESRB Rating: E (Everyone)
Genre: Racing Simulation
After the excellent Forza Horizon 2, I can not wait to get into Forza Motorsport 6. The game pushes the boundaries of car simulation games with dramatic weather effects that change that road conditions on the fly. One moment it could be a bright, sunny day suitable for racing, and the next, a torrential rain storm that threatens to put you out of the race.
Already available, the demo of Forza Motorsport 6 unlocks the blue Ford GT appearing on the cover of the game. You can then transfer it into the full and use it from the start, as well as several other cars from Forza Horizon 2 if you have previously played it.
Halo 5: Guardians
Release Date: October 27, 2015
ESRB Rating: M (Mature, 17+)
Genre: First-person shooter
Does it get any bigger than Halo 5: Guardians? This is probably THE most awaited title releasing this year, and it’s exclusive to Xbox One. With a captivating story that will make you question who’s on the right side—Master Chief or Commander Jameson Locke—Halo 5 is sure to have plenty of monumental revelations. If you want to shed some light on the story before the game releases, be sure to check out Halo: Nightfall, a live action series focused on ONI’s Lieutenant Commander, Jameson Locke.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Release Date: November 10, 2015
ESRB Rating: M (Mature, 17+)
Genre: Action-adventure
Rise of the Tomb Raider is going back to the series’ roots, with Lara Croft exploring dangerous tombs and ruins for forgotten treasures. You’ll travel to exoctic locations like the Siberian mountains in search of valuables that other hostile groups are also seeking. As Lara, you must rely on your survival instincts to craft weapons and master the art of luring your enemies into fatal traps. This title is a more than promising sequel to Tomb Raider, which was one of my recent favoutites.
Fable Legends
Release Date: TBA 2015
ESRB Rating: RP (undefined)
Genre: Role-playing
Fable Legends is a free-to-play multiplayer game set in the vast world of Fable! Fable Legends will allow you to choose between playing on the side of good—or bad. In addition, during E3 2015, Microsoft announced the game will be cross-playable for both players on Xbox One and PC players using Windows 10.
Soon you’ll be able to jump into the realm of Albion and experienc this epic adventure with the upcoming Fable Legends beta. For me personally, the dark side seems more because you have to defend your territory by installing traps to slow the progression of those who try to invade you. Do you have what it takes to be a true villain, or will you be more inclined to join a team of four heroes and confront this evil together?
Let me know which one is your favourite!
