Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. Hello Kitty Tetris. Yes, Hello Kitty Tetris. Today, they shut down my favourite version of Tetris, Tetris Friends, and there are rumors that Hello Kitty Tetris will replace it, but no more details will be given except that it launches at E3.

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare reboot, made by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, has me the most excited!! Call of Duty Modern Warfare (COD4) was the first game I got for my PS3 and it’s still my favourite Call of Duty game. Can’t wait!
I’m very exited and looking forward to the Nintendo Switch console. The whole Mario collection looks amazing and I can’t wait to try them out, especially the Super Mario Party!
I’m really excited about Cyberpunk 2077 by CDPR. The Witcher 3 is probably one of my most favourite games ever, so a shooter with cyberpunk elements with similar RPG elements? I’m sold already. The trailer and gameplay they showed already looks amazing I can’t wait!
I have to go with Wolfenstein: Youngblood developed by MachineGames because I remember the first Wolfenstein game I played as a child and i thought back then it was the most amazing game ever but looking back on the way it was and what it is today is astonishing! things have changed so much!
Definitely excited for The Last of Us 2! The previous game was heart wrenching in terms of storytelling coupled with intense gameplay. Can’t wait to see how Naughty Dog will exceed my expectations this time!
Words cannot express how excited I am for Pokemon Sword and Shield by Gamefreak! I remember my parents saving me money to get me my first gameboy and how being thrown into this new world made my young imagination run wild. Now we have come full circle where I now get to share these games with my children and get to experience this whole new world of fantastic creatures together on the Nintendo Switch. Could not be more excited!
I’m most excited about the game Borderlands 3 by Gearbox. I really love the series and I’m looking forward to the new multiplayer game style.
Deep Silver announcing there will be a playable version of Shenmue 3 to the press at E3 2019! I’m not the press but I’m still very excited as they’ve kept quite secretive about this game. It’s so important to me because I remember being 13 years old and being captivated by Shenmue 2 on the original Xbox! Such a beautiful and engulfing game. I bought it from the sale rack and it’s been to this day the best bang for my buck I’ve ever gotten from a game! So excited for the third instalment!
I’m beyond excited for Halo Infinite! The game that shaped my gaming experience!
It’s going to be on an Xbox console. It’s going to bring back Xbox into my life, the countless hours playing slayer and every other game mode, relentless Legendary campaign sprees with the best story I’ve experienced.
The game will be open world and that’s a fascinating thought… excited to see what it will bring to the series. How they will integrate the same level of epic story and still keep it linear? I have no idea but I hope the series can return to its roots and shock the gaming community
I am excited for Activision’s Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (game). I loved playing the original Crash Bandicoot as a child and 20 years later to have a new spin on the same character is definitely something to look forward to. My husband never played any of the original games so I am excited to share this new crash bandicoot experience with him as well!
I’m excited about the future PlayStation console. Guaranteed backwards compatibility and the impressive hardware specs make me want to buy it as soon as it releases to the public.

I like the unofficial announcements concerning the PS5 capabilities and specs. Looking to get my hands on that console when it comes out… rumor is Nov 2020.
As a student in university I had to sell some of my consoles. Prior to the recent news of games such as Modern Warfare and Pokémon Sword and Shield— I felt like I had to turn my couch gaming into actual life “games” such as calisthenics. Seeing all this overwhelming news makes me want to be a teenager again. That being said, as of now I am extremely excited for E3. I really hope to get more updates on Modern Warfare. It’s been about 8 years since I played Modern Warfare 3 right before I started high school. and how time flies, wow. I hope the E3 news had made everybody feel the same feeling I felt. Another note, the trailer on the Playstation Youtube channel makes me want to revisit the fantastic world that Playstation brought in my life.
Super excited for the new Pokémon game for switch
I am really hoping we get some info on Bethesda’s new elder scrolls game. I love those games so much, Skyrim and oblivion just make me so happy to play through and I still actively play ESO. I normally hate to preorder but I feel like I will for this game. Skyrim is what first got me into writing fantasy as before I just saw it mostly as a Tolkien thing. Elder scrolls showed me a new path that fantasy can go down, and I’m very thankful for that.
I can hardly wait to get Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a kart racing game developed by Beenox and published by Activision. I will buy the Xbox One version so I can race my
8 year old grandson who loves everything with wheels attached. The game looks suitable for kids.

I am extremely excited for any Animal Crossing content coming out from Nintendo Switch, as well as any other rumours about Mario Kart 9! I’ve grown up with Mario Kart since I was about six or seven years old, and to this day playing brings me so much fun and joy.
I am so excited for animal crossing for the switch. Since I was a kid, I’ve been obsessed with Nintendo- and most specifically Animal Crossing. It’s a game series that I’ve grown up with, since playing it on the GameCube, and now progressing from New Leaf to the new switch title. It’s the type of game that you can pick up whenever you’re feeling down, which will lift your spirits. Talking to the kind neighbours in the game, performing errands, catching fish, designing a home- it’s that simple slice of life kind of game that helps me relax and unwind. I can’t wait to play it!

Pokémon Sword and Shield is a great upcoming role-playing video game developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. My son and I love playing games together and he is obsessed with Pokémon so we are both over the moon excited for this game to come out!

I’m excited for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3! Hoping we get more characters announced during E3 and possibly some Nintendo guests or costumes content.
I was hoping for a Marvel game to play on the Nintendo Switch, and it was a huge surprise when the game was announced and not just that it’s coming to the Switch, it’s exclusive! I just know that Nintendo are willing to make sure that the quality of the gameplay will be clean and fun like their big titles.
I am very much looking forward to a possible official announcement at E3 from Nintendo concerning the arrival of Detective Pikachu for the Nintendo Switch. After watching the movie and researching across the web engadget.com posted Nintendo’s tweet regarding Detective Pikachu and the Nintendo Switch. Both the console and the game itself are truly important to me as I immersed myself in Pokémon growing up. From playing on my game boy to having the chance to play Pokémon for the Switch, I just can’t wait.
