Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. The potential for backwards compatibility for Sony’s PS5! I am excited as this means that there will be a wider game availability including my fav Kingdom Hearts and Marvel’s Avengers which was also announced, both by the amazing Square Enix!
I’m excited by Nintendo’s announcement that the Metroid Prime 4 game was being restarted by Retro. It’s awesome to see their dedication to the fans.
Im looking forward to see more of Activisions Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) when it drops on October 25th. The modern Warfare trilogy was a big part of my younger teenaged gaming days and so to see the series return to some of its roots with a whole new storyline will be quite intriguing!
Can’t wait to hear more about the new pokemon games for the nintendo switch!!
The ps5 announcement
Anything that has to do with the PS5 is exciting. First retrocompatible sony system, next gen, ssd… It’s going to be legendary!
The game gears 5 was announced and confirmed by Microsoft and The Coalition studio a while back but there is new updates that will be revealed at this e3 event.
It’s important to me since I’ve followed the series so I’m very excited to see any news on this game.
Even though Sony is not at E3 I was so excited to hear about the specifications of PS5 and how it will be backwards compatible
Im pretty hyped for halo infinity by Microsoft on the xbox one im hoping they bring back the good old days of halo ruling the fps genre

I’m really looking forward to hearing more about Astral Chain for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by the studio behind the Bayonetta franchise and Nier Automata, I cannot wait to see the return of the fluid hack-and-slash combat from their previous titles. I absolutely enjoyed Nier Automata’s world and narrative which makes me really excited for what kind of story they bring this time with Astral Chain.
Super excited for the release of the last of us part 2. The first one was beyond amazing, can’t wait to see what they do with the second. Playstation always comes out with perfect exclusives!
This year, I’m most excited for Borderlands 3 (developed by Gearbox and published by 2K Games). I started playing the Borderlands series a couple years ago and I haven’t really stopped since! It seems like the third game will continue to deliver on all of my favourite things about the rest of the series, like fun gameplay, cool worldbuilding, great humour and a very unique artstyle, so I can’t wait to buy it for PS4 or PC later this year. It looks like it’s going to be awesome!
Though Sony won’t be at E3, I am excited to hear more about PS5 in some capacity, and the potential of more backward compatibility.
I’m interested in the new Avengers game being released by Square Enix! Multiplayer coop is a big draw for me.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake by SquareEnix has me excited for more details. It’s a game I’ve played through numerous times, and I’m eager to see what information they have for us.
I am super stoked for the new ps 4 line up . I need something new to play . Especially days gone and far cry.
I am so looking forward to the last of us two coming out .
I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for the game Halo: Infinite at the Xbox briefing. I’ve heard a lot of rumors about open world, some destiny style elements, and it being a soft reboot for the franchise. It will be interesting to see how they plan to bring this franchise back.
I’m really excited for the game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft! I loved Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, I love the whole stealth concept. There are times when I will restart the mission because I felt like I screwed up and didn’t complete it the way I wanted to.
After Capcom’s DMCV, which I was waiting on for so long and absolutely loved, I’m curious to find out more about FFXIV: Shadowbringers by Square Enix. I used to play that game a lot with my friends, and I’m hoping the expansion will be cool enough to bring us back in!
I’m excited for the announcement of Pokémon shield and sword, I’m a big fan of the series since red and blue on game boy. Can’t wait to see more.
really exited about the new Borderlands 3 by 2K games and Gearbox Studios to come out, the previous games in the series were awesome and Borderlands 3 looks sick! hopefully this game wont disappoint!
I’m extremely excited for the release of the Last of Us 2, I’ve played and beat the 1st one so many times I’ve lost count. I mainly play pc but Sony has had some amazing exclusives and I need to try them!
The possible release of Sony’s PlayStation 5, next gen is on its way and with an all digital Xbox who knows how this play station will be, super pumped to find out

Crystal Dynamics’ Marvels Avengers
I am quite excited about the new modern warfare, but i’m quite stoked for the new pokemon shield game. I miss the old style of pokemon games and i’m hoping this brings back some of that. The division 2 was also something that had me excited and i now enjoy the game. I’m excited for quite a lot of games coming out this year so it’s hard to get in to just one!

Personally, I’m very excited for the Avengers game reveal from Marvel and Square Enix. This will mean the expansion of an already epic Marvel Universe and provide another immersive avenue to enjoy everyone’s favorite superheroes. With some exceptions, I’ve really come to enjoy Square Enix’s unique storytelling abilities and think that they will honor the intricacies and depth to the Marvel Universe.
Marvels Avengers game by Square Enix has me hyped especially after Avengers Endgame! Marvel just keeps pulling out the big guns so i cant wait for this as well on ps4 =)
I’m excited to see more of Cyberpunk 2077 from CD Projeckt Red! The world needs more cyberpunk! It looks incredibly immersive and can’t wait to get lost in its world.
Avengers project thats coming out for the ps4. Really glad that Square Enix is taking the helm to make this game into a reality, I am a really big fan of Marvel and remember playing marvel games since I was a kid. Finished the playthrough of spiderman and hoping its somewhat as good as a game as that

Definitely the Last of Us 2 on PS4. My brother and I loved the first one so very excited for the second game. Also can’t wait for Luigi Mansion to come out for the Switch!
I’m excited to see Halo: Infinite from 343 Industries during Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference. It is the sixth mainline entry in the Halo franchise, and it looks like it’ll drastically change the series’ direction going forward. I’ve played every Halo game, and I have fond memories playing through the campaign with my brothers. I’m hoping to play Halo: Infinite with them and have a great time together!
I’m excited for the return of Modern Warfare. From the first reveal trailer it seems like Call of Duty is finally returning to form, and I’m interested in seeing what improvements Infinity Ward have cooked up.
Borderlands 3! By Gearbox Who doesn’t love looting and blowing credits at the gambling machines?
We are excited that Super Mario Maker 2 by Nintendo Switch is gonna be released June 28. My son can’t wait to try it!
I’m excited for Xbox/Microsoft acquiring new studios, potentially Io interactive, the creators of Hitman. I’m excited by this as Xbox although they started off this generation struggling they’ve really come out swinging in the last year or two and I’m super excited for the future of Xbox.
The new call of duty modern warfare has me the most excited. Also the future ps5 has excited as well.
I’m stoked about Nintendo’s announcement of the release of Pokemon Shield. Pokemon has been loved by the whole family for what feels like forever. My kids would worship me if I brought home this baby. The Nintendo Prize Pack #2 has me the most excited because it includes The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I have been in love with Zelda and its hero Link ever since Link was a cute little green dot with a floppy red hat waaaay back in the golden Nintendo days. I have played every version except the most recent and would love, love, love to win a Switch.

I’m excited for Death Stranding by Kojima Productions and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare by Infinity Ward. Death Stranding is still riddled in mystery despite showing us an eight minute trailer. As for Modern Warfare, there are many new confirmed editions to the game, including cross-play and a new engine, that will certainly bring a new face to the Call of Duty franchise.
