Call of Duty prize bundle imageBest Buy has been the go-to place for new game releases and to pre-order upcoming games in Canada for a long time. Canadians have come to expect that Best Buy will not only have the new games, but also talk about the new games on the blog so you can decide which ones are right for you. We did that for the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Blog writer Dave Neufeld tested the beta version of that game and told us all what to expect. If you are one of the thousands who can’t wait to play this game then this contest is perfect for you: enter to win an amazing COD: Modern Warfare prize bundle worth approximately $600! Read on to learn all of the details.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a very fast paced First Person Shooter game

Are you expecting to be challenged from your games? It’s likely that will happen with the new version of Call of Duty. Reviewer Dave Neufeld played the beta version that was available last month and he learned a thing or two … about how easy it is to die that is. As he says in his article:

It seems like death comes more quickly than ever before in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta, with powerful weapons and clever hiding places allowing those keen players with the sharpest skills to dispose of casuals like myself like shooting fish in a barrel.

Prepare to die! Just kidding! Instead I should say … prepare to win a fantastic prize package.

Be the envy of Call of Duty enthusiasts world-wide

This prize package is really the ultimate COD bundle for anyone who has ever loved the various iterations of this game. As shown in the image at the top the prize bundle includes:

  • Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Standard Edition for PS4
  • Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Cap
  • Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Limited Release Pin
  • Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Crew Sock
  • ASTRO A10 Gaming HeadsetImage of Call of Duty Modern Warfare game cover
  • Custom DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller for PS4™

  1. What hardware upgrade would give you the best bang for your buck to keep your gaming rig humming and playing all the new games coming out?

  2. Having not played Call it Duty games in a while, what about this iteration stands out from the rest? Also, to add on to this, do they support cross platform multiplayer?

  3. The new call of duty game is it only multi player ,or can you play it without subscribing to the PlayStation network

  4. I would like to see a blog post about the other capabilities of the playstation/xbox besides gaming.

  5. Just how much customization is available with different gaming accessories now? With all the brands, colours and styles it seems like the possibilities are endless now.

  6. A couple of topics I’d like to see being discussed:

    – The Japanese gaming market shift from consoles to mobile, how it impacts the industry both business wise and product wise, such as the Japanese making consoles games thinking much more about the western audience or the almost nonexistence of high budget JP games other than those from already popular series.

    – How the big gaming companies may end up screwing small developers, examples being small studios being acquired and then closed down when not performing well enough or studios signing up exclusivity deals with weaker platforms and then having no profit whatsoever.

Oh, and good luck to everyone entering the contest!

  7. I would like to know a little bit about the future of gaming, where it is headed, and how is Best Buy planning to keep up. Thank you. 🙂

  8. My son loves his video games, but he gets a little too…passionate when he plays warfare-type games. Since there is no swearing allowed in our home, and he’s running out of creative phrases to express that ‘passion’, I was wondering if you could recommend any games that are well-received by the preteen age group…that are less likely to have him depositing his hard-earned loonies into the swear jar : )

  9. My kids and I are very overwhelmed when it comes to setting ourselves up to produce online content. Many people seem to set their xboxes up through computers while others just use apps through the actual xbox…we are wondering, to get started with creating genuine online content that is fast and easy to use, which format is better/easier? Is there a preferred app Mixer vs Twitch vs Other? What should we really have for basic/easy streaming?

  10. What is the most popular game right now at Best Buy for relative age groups and do you track or notice a gender difference?

  11. Why do they need to put so many buttons on a gaming controller?? There are too many buttons and my “video game language” comes out any time I play.

  12. For a future blog post, I would like to know what tablets are good to buy i.e. Ipad vs. Samsung Galaxy. Thanks!
