Premium TVs begin with outstanding new technology

I get this question quite frequently on the blog and on social media, “I want to buy a new TV; can you tell me which TV should I get?” My answer is to figure out your budget and space considerations for the room where it will be placed, then get the most future friendly TV with the largest screen that will fit in your home that you can afford. Future friendly means best technology available. And this year is a banner year for new technology in televisions.

I am planning on getting a new set for my home one day. I have a budget in mind and a TV size in mind (65 inch). I haven’t decided which brand to purchase yet because they are all so tempting! Each of the top manufactures has released new televisions with outstanding new technologies that make the colours more vibrant, details clearer, and the overall entertainment experience much better.

Do your research and plan for your next TV

Buying a television does require doing a bit of research. This contest will help you do that so you will know which future friendly Premium TV will be right for your home. There are three television prizes, one from each of the major TV manufacturers, Samsung, Sony, and LG, as shown here.

These are all premium prizes, so you must do a bit of work before you enter to win one of them. Since each of these brands provided a prize for this contest, you’ll be allowed to enter once per brand. Read the directions below carefully.

  14. For Samsung, I love that it gives you 4 oor 8K resolution even if the source isn’t that. I had always worried about that with other 4k tvs and that is one reason we had never gotten one! The model I really liked was QN75Q8DTAFXZC. I love the colour and the thin bezel and it offers all the stuff I like about the new samsungs!

  17. For my Sony entry, I found that the TRILUMINOS Display seems awesome. Our main tv area is very bright and having a good brightness and contrast on the TV is so important to us. I really like their XBR65A8H model. It looks amazing.

  35. I am most excited about the Acoustic Multi-Audio that the Sony X900H has because most thin TV’s have substandard audio which are unpleasant to hear. My favorite model is the Sony 65″ 4K UHD HDR OLED Android Smart TV (XBR65A8G) mainly because of its many positive reviews.

  40. I like the LG Nano cell with 4K Ultra HD that delivers life-like imagery. The crisp details and vivid tones would be lovely. I would enjoy the LG NanoCell 55″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV Smart TV (55NANO90UNA). It would be a perfect size with a great picture.

  44. I love LG’s NanoCell technology for a higher quality picture but the ability to hand the TV like a piece of art is a very close second.

    THe LG NanoCell 75″ 8K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV Smart TV is my favourite. The 8K quality would be perfect for gaming with my son and watching my favourite sports.

  50. I have always preferred LG over other brands. A) the Nano cell would give a superior display and B) the LG NanoCell 65″ 4K UHD HDR LED webOS Smart TV (65NANO86UNA) is the TV I would prefer.
