Hisense 10000 nit UX TV

The pairing of AI and new TVs is one of the main themes of CES 2024, and the Hisense Keynote focused on how these new technologies are being put to use in their new laser TV and Mini-LED TV lineup for 2024. Here’s a quick recap of the Hisense Keynote at CES 2024.

Hisense Connectlife connects smart appliances with TVs

Hisense ConnectLife and the Vidaa TV operating system will connect your home displays to your smart appliances. If you are watching a TV show and you’d like to try the recipe, ConnectLife can transfer the info to your Hisense smart oven and give you step by step instructions for how to cook that dish.

Hisense Laser TVs have bigger, better pictures

Hisense remains focused on bringing Laser TVs to the living room, and they have a lot of new and interesting models coming out this year. There are both short throw and long throw options that can produce images from 80 inches up to 300 inches.

A few devices Hisense is working on include the 8K Sonic Laser TV with in-screen surround sound to give you a movie theatre experience at home. It can produce 1 billion colours. The Ultra Black Screen Laser TV has a Micro-Nano Anti Glare Film. The keynote also mentioned HDR laser TV to give you the perfect picture in any type of lighting as well as Laser TV rollable screens that can hide away when not in use.

10,000 nits of brightness for the new 110 inch ULED X

The showstopper for Hisense was the announcement of the ULED X series for 2024. The massive 110 inch UX TV has 10,000 nits of brightness and 40,000 dimming zones. To give you an idea of how bright 10,000 nits is, think about how it’s recommend a bright room have a TV or projector that has at least 1000 nits of brightness. Can you imagine how bright the TV would be if it was 10,000? It’s no wonder this TV is a CES 2024 Innovation Award Honoree.

The UX series uses a chipset called the HighView Engine X. It boosts colour and contrast as well as uses AI to provide the most realistic, colourful picture possible. The TV also has a 4.2.2 Dolby Atmos sound system built in.

Hisense announced several new U series Mini-LED TVs including the U6, U7, and U8. These are Mini-LED QLED TVs available in a range of sizes from 55 inches up to 85 inches. The U8 is also available in 100 inch size. They are ultra thin TVs with features sports fans and gamers will love. They have 144Hz refresh rate with Game Mode Pro and Game Bar. They are Wi-Fi 6E compliant for faster Ethernet speeds, have HDMI 2.1, and low input lag.

While details were brief, Hisense made time to mention the new Canvas TV. It has a customized bezel, zero gap wall mount, and it will flush mount to your wall. There’s also the Super Slim UX LED TV that’s only 14mm wide and the thinnest Micro-LED TV ever made. Last, but not least, the Hisense C1 Pro Projector will be able to project an image from 80 inch up to 300 inches.
