Does your home need a big screen, jaw-droppingly amazing Samsung QLED TV? Why? What is it about the features on the newest Samsung televisions that make them perfect for your home? I’ll go over some of the things that I like about them. What I really want to know, though, is what you like about Samsung QLED TVs. Tell me that and you’ll have a chance to win one of the best televisions available in 2020.

Why would you want the best television available in your home

Technology evolves. We’ve seen this happening as each new speaker design, new smart home tech, and new computer come out that sound better, or do more, or do more a lot faster than ever. Television technology too keeps getting better. When I was young, my family had a tiny TV set with a black and white display and only two channels. In only a few decades we now have unbelievably massive and slim TVs that can be mounted on a wall like art work, and can deliver almost an infinite variety of entertainment with realistic clarity to our homes.

Big screen and amazing displays are just the beginning when it comes to Samsung QLED

Picture what owning a new Samsung QLED TV in your home would look like. Can you do that? Me, I don’t know if I fully can. Right now my television is a 27 inch Samsung TV from over ten years ago. My imagination struggles with how different watching movies or sports would be; or how gaming would be more immersive, realistic, and just so much more fun.

Here are some of the things I like about the newest Samsung QLED televisions. First of all, there is the Quantum Dot tehcnology with dual-LED backlighting delivering brilliant colours and stunning contrast. Then there is the AI processor ensuring no matter what source of content, it will be enhanced to fully capitalize on the size and features of the screen. The last feature that I love and want in my home is Ambient Mode, so when I’m not watching television my living room has beautifully imagery, or artwork, or useful information on display—rather than having the room dominated by a big, black rectangle.

  1. “The Samsung 8K Quantum Processor also optimizes sound for each scene, and adjusts brightness to the room’s environment.” Optimizes the sound for each scene? This! This is why I’d love this tv!

  2. Updating to QLED, 4K, and the ambient mode would be amazing over my tired old plasma TV!

  3. We sleep in Hospital Beds and just the fact that it is 65″ would be amazing for our bedroom.

  4. HOLY CRAP!!!!! Great prize. I can remember wayyyyyy back when a 21″ TV was thought to be HUGE. We won’t mention how much it weighed OR the few channels it could receive. Wouldn’t want to let anyone know exactly how ancient I am.. LOL

  5. My TV is from 2008 and it heats up my living room so much that I can’t watch TV when it’s warm outside so if love something that doesn’t produce the kind of heat an older TV does. But I also feel that higher picture quality will take my TV watching experience to new levels

  6. Ambient Mode is by far the coolest feature. The big black rectangles around my place would look fantastic if they could all be depicting art instead like this beautiful TV!!

  7. I like the option of when I’m not watching television it can show beautifully imagery, or artwork, or useful information on display—rather than having the room dominated by a big, black rectangle.

  8. the Quantum Dot technology with dual-LED backlighting delivering brilliant colours and stunning contrast would be a big improvement over my current aging Samsung tv which has served me well

  9. the Quantum Dot tehcnology with dual-LED backlighting delivering brilliant colours and stunning contrast

  10. I have multiple content sources. The AI processor to optimize the display adjusting to my content sounds terrific!

  11. Quantum dot technology and that VRR is needed. Have an 8 year old Sony 1080p and it’s just not ready for the new consoles coming this year

  12. Quantum technology, and ambient mode. I would love the opportunity to watch the bright colors with my boys. ZOODAY in HD!?? The cartoon experience will never be the same.

  13. The ambient mode! Who doesn’t love some beautiful artwork/photos displayed in the background?

  14. I really like the Quantum Dot tehcnology with dual-LED backlighting delivering brilliant colours and stunning contrast

  15. I don’t know if there’s a term for it, but it said it could transform lower resolution content to 8K. That was pretty cool.

  16. What doesn’t sound great about this TV? Getting older your vision gets poorer, anythinig that improves the sharpness, contrast and vivid colour is wonderful, however, the ambient mode sounds fascinating. I’ve never seen a TV do that before.
