I’ll go over some of the things that I like about them. What I really want to know, though, is what you like about Samsung QLED TVs. Why would you want the best television available in your home

Technology evolves. We’ve seen this happening as each new speaker design, new smart home tech, and new computer come out that sound better, or do more, or do more a lot faster than ever. Television technology too keeps getting better. When I was young, my family had a tiny TV set with a black and white display and only two channels. In only a few decades we now have unbelievably massive and slim TVs that can be mounted on a wall like art work, and can deliver almost an infinite variety of entertainment with realistic clarity to our homes.

Picture what owning a new Samsung QLED TV in your home would look like. Can you do that? Me, I don’t know if I fully can. Right now my television is a 27 inch Samsung TV from over ten years ago. My imagination struggles with how different watching movies or sports would be; or how gaming would be more immersive, realistic, and just so much more fun.

Here are some of the things I like about the newest Samsung QLED televisions. First of all, there is the Quantum Dot tehcnology with dual-LED backlighting delivering brilliant colours and stunning contrast. Then there is the AI processor ensuring no matter what source of content, it will be enhanced to fully capitalize on the size and features of the screen. The last feature that I love and want in my home is Ambient Mode, so when I’m not watching television my living room has beautifully imagery, or artwork, or useful information on display—rather than having the room dominated by a big, black rectangle.

  1. Ambient mode for sure!! This would be absolutely perfect in our recently renovated basement which is currently empty!!!

  2. Youtubers say Samsung QLED is almost on par with LG OLED and at cheaper price. However it is still not cheap enough for me to splurge. I missed out on the clearance item sale last month and now biting myself for not doing it. Hopefully I win this TV so that my furniture in the room actually points to something.

  8. I’m so excited about this new technology. I value an excellent picture quality especially since I don’t go to the movies. Also the Ambient mode is really attractive to me. But he processing power of tv is most appealing.

  9. What I mostly love about the Samsung QLED TV, besides the amazing clarity, colour and brightness, is the fact that it doesn’t look like a tv when it isn’t on! Instead of looking at something that resembles the black hole of the universe, I can look at a beautiful image instead. And I saw white and tan options for the framing, which is amazing! Makes me want to finally get a big screen tv!

  10. I would love to see the Quantum Dot technology to see if it provides better contrast of dark scenes. Our present TV is just a black screen when showing night scenes and it is very frustrating not to have a picture.

  14. I like Samsung’s Quantum Dot tech and the low input lag which will be beneficial in our gaming sessions.

  15. The feature I want in my home is the Samsung 8K Quantum Processor and its ability to adjusts brightness to the room’s environment.
