The first speakers I bought for myself when I moved into my own apartment was a set of expensive tower speakers. I paid a lot but knew I would have them for ever … and I still have them and they still deliver amazing sound.   19. I’m not entirely sure which speakers would be best. I would connect them to our AVR. We are in a townhouse and the room is a great room, that is the kitchen, dining room, living room all in one. The TV is located on the side wall in the living room area. I am using bookshelf speakers my brother-in-law gave me.

  37. The tower speakers will definitely sound good, though I always find them tougher from a decor perspective. If I could choose, I would lean towards the Definitive Technology Mythos 100-Watt Sound Bar. Sound bars don’t pump as great, but they are just so sleek and clean.   46. We currently only have the speakers that are built in to our LG 50″ Smart TV. I can only imagine what the sound would be like in our living room coming from a pair of BP-9060 300 watt tower speakers on each side of our TV. We have sat in front of a TV with these at speakers at our Best Buy Store; great sound! I can only imagine the great clarity at home.
