So many people have Sony on their wishlist at Christmas time. Sony under the Christmas tree

I’m surprised no one has invented a holiday song related to finding Sony under the tree on Christmas morning. Holiday songs are all about traditions we cherish and repeat and I think Sony has become part of many people’s holiday tradition. Don’t we all have a Sony holiday memory? I know I do.

A long, long time ago, I was dying for a portable cassette player: and of course Sony was “the brand” with their Walkman line. There aren’t many gifts from my past that I remember opening, but I can recall unwrapping that bright yellow Walkman Sport like the one shown here—vividly remember!

My first thin LED big screen TV was, and still is, a Sony. I’ve had it for over 13 years now and still love the picture quality. When it finally bids me farewell, the Sony XBR55A8G that we are giving away in this contest would be a fantastic replacement. I sent one of these to Shelly to review and she absolutely loved it for watching the newest movies and even for gaming. The OLED screen really has to be seen to be believed—it is that amazing! We are expecting a baby in the next few weeks as well and it would be perfect to capture those special memories and help us cherish it for a life time. Viewing those pictures and videos from that amazing TV would be outstanding as well!

  13. My first ever was a Sony Walkman and I had the barenaked ladies with a Phil Collins cassette. Always taped stuff of the radio to play on the walkman. Those were amazing times.I’ve been loyal to Sony for a long time from headphones, to my first smart phone Xperia, to the playstation console Sony has been a part of my life.

    I would love a sony mirrorless camera as that is the only product that I never really used or experienced yet.

  27. A PS4 pro for my kids would be on my Sony Wishlist.
    My fiance (now my wife) wrapped a newly released PS2 ( yes. Im that old) for me and left it under the tree when we first started dating. I can still remember how excited I was when the label started back at me from under the torn wrapping. To see that same excitement on my kids faces would be priceless.

  33. I would be pretty excited to see a Sony DSCHX350/B 20.4MP 50x Optical Zoom Compact Camera under the tree. I know everyone has a camera now because of cell phones etc. But they just don’t compare. I love taking pictures of my dog in the winter to add to his own Instagram account, I know… I know… but photographing pets is hard and the further away you are the cooler the shot in my opinion, so that zoom and those mp’s would be awesome!
